    The food was really good. The prices are on the higher end. Very fresh and high quality fish. Staff was also very friendly. There is not a huge variety of rolls, so if you are more into sashimi and other Japanese dishes I would recommend it.

    There is a new sushi king in town! If you haven’t been to O-Ku DC yet you really need to go. This sushi restaurant opened this past June and I finally had the opportunity to give them a try this weekend.

    O-Ku DC is located across from Union Market in the Northeast. The interior is modern and is multilevel with a whiskey bar on the second floor.

    My wife and I ate the sushi bar in the back on the first floor. The chefs cook food right in front of you on an open wood cooker. Our waiter as well as the rest of the staff did an amazing job. I’ve never been so full in all my life. The food is amazing! We tried some sushi, lobster and tried a couple of their drinks. So, so good!

    Although new it’s been well maintained and taken care of. It’s immaculate inside. Thank you for a great first experience. My wife and I can’t wait to come back. In the meantime keep up the great work.

    Great food and great service. Go upstairs to the Japanese whiskey bar for friendly staff who know a lot about whiskeys and are more than happy to make a suggestion. Great addition for the community and awesome date night spot.

    When you go out to have a nice dinner,specially in DC you want the whole experience. We were greeted by their host and quickly after we were seated, the waitress. She was super fun and very attentive. We loved everything we had,honestly is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Everything was full of flavor and fresh.

    The staff is amazing,they really know everything about their food.They truly provide the whole experience.

    Will definitely come back.

    Love this place! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food is fresh. Every single thing we tried was delicious. We didn't have one bad recommendation. The edamame were seasoned to perfection. Being able to watch your food being prepared just enhanced the experience.
