    Came here last night with friends. Nice atmosphere. The oysters and steak were excellent.

    The sides, like cauliflower, broccoli and potatoes were pretty basic, and just average. The waitress could’ve much friendlier, as well.

    Overall, I would come back here.

    My extended family had a great brunch this morning at St. Anselm! Be sure to order their really buttery biscuits with the pimiento cheese. One person had the cheeseburger and added some of the extra pimiento cheese. As good as the original burger was, he particularly loved it with the pimiento cheese added. The steak and eggs had just the right amount of of tender, juicy steak with the fried eggs and crispy hash browns. The Norwegian eggs dish was also excellent, and the French Toast was wonderful! Service was very attentive,. keeping our teapots and coffee cups filled. Prices were very reasonable for DC. Parking was easy and free. We will be back again soon!

    Amazing food and service! Highly recommend making a reservation, especially on the weekends. This place gets busy and doesn't let up, but for good reason. The food is absolutely delicious and the prices won't kill you.

    We were a party of four. We ordered many items on the menu to share. Everything was delicious, but the main things that stood out were...

    Highlights:
    Butter Biscuits with pimento cheese = MUST HAVE!
    Monster Prawn = The name says it all
    Ribeye Steak = Super flavorful and delicious
    Manager Vanessa = Extremely helpful in choosing wine

    I will definitely be returning! =)

    Great atmosphere! Amazing service! They are knowledgeable but very casual. We were well taken care of. We never had to ask for anything. Every bite of everything was outstanding! Thanks Carolyn and Vanessa.

    I was walking to Union Market for lunch, but decided to stop in here for brunch instead. I wasn’t disappointed at all. The atmosphere was trendy, but very welcoming and homey. The staff was great, but the best part was the food. The portions were a good size and the quality was excellent. I’m looking forward to coming back!
