Lucy Bar potentially has the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. We stopped in on a whim, and it definitely paid off. Some items to caution about are the ambience (very loud music) and service. Our server was excessively quick at the beginning and barely gave us time to review the menu. After the meal when we tried to order a dessert drink, she was nowhere to be found. That being said, the food was amazing (especially the pizza), so it’s worth checking out for that alone.
I absolutely love it here! I started coming when they first opened and haven’t been able to stay away. The food is delicious; great happy hour; phenomenal, creative cocktail selection; and OUTSTANDING at any time of day. I’ve been in the afternoons to sit outside with a glass of wine or shared a drink for a date inside at the bar. If you’re at the bar, Josias will treat you right; one of the best bartenders in DC. Highly recommend
Superb food, portions, prices, atmosphere and the best costumer service. From drinks, appetizers to desserts, nothing but excellent. Im glad I found this gem, definitely making a come back with friends.
First time here and I feel the food was good. I wish the pizza was a little less busy. There is no need to overload when you have such rich flavors and lots of cheese. I was there when they opened but I could imagine a first date here or a small group of friends.
I would say the one or two moments that need some improvement the bartender seemed a little timid or inexperienced. She had 3 customers was not really engaged with anyone. The hostess and server would have been much better at the job as they were much more attentive. I got there when they opened so I know it was not busy.
Overall, it is a little pricey but I think for a splurge it is fine. The happy hour deal on the wine was decent.
Always reliable for good cocktails & food. Their happy hour is high value! Check out the deal on oysters & martinis from 5-7 most (all?) days of the week. Bartenders there can mix you up whatever you want and the new chef offers a good twist on Italian classics
