We loved the space, airy and tastefully designed, especially the lighting.
Very focused menu, everything we chose was delicious, fresh ingredients, well presented and with great texture and taste. Pasta was definitely a standout but it was all excellent.
Service was perfect .
They have the most incredible sandwiches during the day! And I love the wine shop as well, great vibes and great people. Bill (wine guy) always knows what to recommend and service is always incredible. Thanks again for a delicious lunch!
Sister restaurant to the much-loved Tail Up Goat, Reveler’s Hour is a stellar addition to the neighborhood. This was our first foray into indoor dining in the time of COVID and we really appreciated the staff and management’s commitment to a safe and welcoming environment. Lucky us, we were able to take advantage of the $45 three-course promotion when they newly re-opened, which was a total steal. Started with a bacon salad, then had corn ravioli for my main (my partner’s eggplant pasta dish was also lovely). Absolute favorite part of the meal (not to discount the rest of dinner, because everything was well executed) was dessert. What a pleasant surprise when the fennel pavlova - a dessert with chopped cucumbers and tomatoes and cucumber sorbet that I thought would be “interesting” albeit slightly strange - turned out to be one of the best desserts I have had in DC.
We'll be back! The service was STELLAR, so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, patient. Delicious cocktails. Our pastas were amaaaaazing. Perhaps it's not a fair comparison, but I'd say my pasta was perhaps better than pasta that I had in Rome last Fall.
As the sister restaurant of the highly accoladed Tail Up Goat, I had high expectations and... they were halfway met. The lamb ragu was great and the scallops were cool. Everything else was okay but I was very underwhelmed by the dessert - a middling ice cream sandwich.
As for the ambiance, the actual restaurant decor feels like an updated more modern Tail Up Goat vibe. We dined in the Reveler Hour’s Lot which is literally a parking lot where they serve you with to-go containers.
