Delicious very authentic Persian style fine dining cuisine. Bold middle eastern flavors with all the traditional sides. Service is well trained and friendly. They help guide any newcomers through the Persian experience.

The spice mist cocktail was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, cheers to the bartender.

Claudia the general manager was very friendly and welcoming, Thank you!
Looking forward to coming back very soon.

Great atmosphere, delicious food. Servings are huge and perfect for sharing. They have a really nice outdoor space and the staff is very attentive. It's hard to save room for dessert but definitely worth it. The faloude is very light and refreshing. The owner was there during our visit and spent time engaging with all the customers.

An excellent spot in terms of food, atmosphere, and service. I'll be back again and often. It's unique for two reasons. First, unlike most Persian restaurants, they non-kabob dishes are highlights, not afterthoughts. Second, it combines a modern, nice dining experience with traditional dishes that don't bastardize the food but does show creativity (for example, with the cocktails).

To those unfamiliar with Persian food, I suggest you go family style and try more than just the kabob (though that it truly excellent). Winners at our table were the eggplant dip (kashk bhadenjoon), yogurts, lamb shank, ghormeh sabzi (stewed herbs and beef), lubia polo (tomato, beef, and bean stew), and Baghali polo (herbed rice with lima beans).

We had a fabulous dinner at Rumi’s Kitchen tonight. The food and the service was great; I felt like I was eating as a guest at the home of a Persian friend—not at a restaurant. Crystal, our server, was especially attentive and kind. Plus we all felt very safe in this meticulously clean and well run place. By the way, it was our first dining experience inside a restaurant in last five months. I cannot wait to go there again when we are next in DC!

Celebrated parent's 35 years wedding anniversary with success at Rumi's Kitchen. They delivered an exceptional service. We had a reservation and were seated in two minutes. Service was top notch, appetizers showed up quick followed by a great and fantastic food service. Their Soltani was outstanding, delicious and very well portioned. Prices were perfect and parking was very easy next door. Overall a 10/10 experience.
