“Awesome, awesome, awesome! What a treasure of a place. Was in town for a vacation and made quite a few stops here. Their Cuban coffee was a great little boost throughout the day. The empanadas made great snacks while their sandwiches and fish were expertly crafted hearty meals. It’s also awesome that this place is only a block from the beach so you can hear the ocean while you sit on their patio. We will definitely be visiting Nautical Cafe any time we return to the area.”

“I grew up in New England where fresh seafood is around every corner when your near the coast. Went here for the 1st time for Father’s Day and can’t wait to go back. I had the whole fried clams which I’ve not been able to find here in Florida and they were delicious!! Just what I wanted. My husband had the basket with fried fish pieces. It was so much food that he had to take some home. Our companions had a basket with scallops and they said they were the best they’ve had in Florida. Our only complaint was we all had onion rings and we all felt they were way too greasy. The atmosphere was very casual and relaxed though a bit loud. We sat outside and because it was an overcast day the heat was very tolerable with whatever fans they had moving the air. I highly recommend New England Eatery.”

“The first thing you notice is how far off the road the restaurant is. When you pull into the driveway you just pass by what appears to be an apartment complex of a sort. At the end of this driveway, you will pull right into the restaurant. The place is an old house turned into a restaurant. Really cool! We were sat in the back which used to be an old patio or screen porch. The view was really great! Looking right out to the water. There is a nice dock providing the type of view you seen on postcards. Service was really good! The food was really good! Very happy! The potato pancakes were good. The sauce that comes with the potato pancakes was really great! The sausage platter was a good way to try the full variety of sausage. The braised beef was really good and cooked perfectly.”

“Staff is always friendly. This is our favorite beach stop as it has easy access to the beach, great food and drink options. Make sure to try their frozen key lime pie on a stick, especially the chocolate dipped one. There is also clean bathrooms, changing areas and showers on property. A life guard is also posted on the right side of beach access.”

“The food was amazing, everything was clean and elegant. They still had happy hour drinks available so the prices for drinks were very reasonable. The private room upstairs was okay, little tight for a big group. We had 2 waiters/waitresses I think they could have use some help from management. All in all was a great experience. We could hear the live piano from downstairs, it was a nice touch.”

“Wow what a surprise gem of a gas station eatery! This place was so good! You can tell they have passion for the food they make. We were told they actually cook their own turkey and roast beef, the bread is flown in from New York, and the tuna is the owners grandmas recipe. If you want to have a quick bite that is filling a delicious, definitely stop here. I will definitely be back. :) Also- you can buy key west key lime pie there too and that was so good! Made me feel like I was on vacation here in my local town gas station.”

“My family recently compared pizza from here, Bizzaro, and Oceanside. Results were pretty close, but this place came in a close third. The pie has a pretty good flavor, although some said the dough tasted like it was previously frozen. I couldn't really tell...I thought the flavor was good. Its a little heavier than Oceanside, and a little cheesier, but Oceanside had a little more zing inits tomato sauce. Definitely lighter and less cheesy than Bizzaro's. But the market was the least expensive of the three, and you really can't go wrong with a pizza from here.”

Highly recommended. Love this place. It doesn't look much from outside, but u will love this Cafe. It was full and lively. Staff super friendly and attentive. Services were quick and spot on. “Our go to dining when we’re on our way home from a day at the beach. We call ahead to minimize our wait when placing an order to go as they can get quite busy. We usually order a large white pizza with spinach and ricotta and a large pizza with pepperoni. While a traditional pie is always good, their white pies are exceptional. Probably the best I’ve ever had, personally. My husband isn’t a fan of veg or ricotta on pizza, and he absolutely loves their white with spinach. Our pizzas are always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Two thumbs way up from this pizza loving family. ????????????????”

“We had a great time last night upstairs right on the deck railing. The view can't be beat. I normally don't have a lot of menu choices being vegetarian, but our server said that they could leave the meat off of the tacos. They just put more mango salsa on them and they were fabulous!! The food was so fresh and had so much flavor. She really made our night out very pleasant.”
