    Now named El Rincon del Mofongo. Delicious, flavorful meals with excellent service. Do yourself a favor and stop in. I stuffed myself and still had half to take home!

    My kiddo and I went to dinner at an awesome hidden gem. Google calls it M&F international but they changed the name to El Rincon Del Mofongo. It's in Bell plaza next to goodwill in Port Charlotte by Midway Blvd.

    The waitress, Shirley, was so nice and incredibly helpful considering we had never been there. She knew the menu and helped us order. We started with the fried plantains, which were so good and had a very good dipping sauce as well. We both ordered the Morongo. I had pork and the kiddo had chicken. They were both excellent and had really good flavor. Try this place, it's a hidden gem.
