I enjoyed the food and atmosphere. and the serving sizes were great for the price! The restaurant location is a bit far away, but worth the trip for a nice lunch or dinner outing. It was cool to see the little crabs running around on the shore near the restaurant, and kids will probably enjoy that part of it too. Only complaint is that there were quite a few flies when we were eating inside, which were of course gross and distracting (but what can you expect when eating near a body of water with open windows and food everywhere?). Otherwise, it's a great place to go!

We visited about 1 hour before closing time and it definitely seemed the employees were ready to get out of there! I understand that they've probably had a long day but still it was an hour not 15 minutes before they were to close. They were setting up around us for the morning reservations and cleaning with a strong smelling cleaner. The waitresses kept gathering together and chatting behind the bar and the guys in the kitchen were yelling and joking around. Our waitress was nice enough but seemed rushed.
They give you free onion rings and they're pretty good. I ordered the coconut shrimp and it was good but greasy. I took most of it home because i just couldn't eat it all there.
The food was good but the prices were way too high for this kind of establishment. My shrimp was right at $20 and the chicken tender kids meal was about $11. That's way too high for the atmosphere and service offered. Our drinks came in plastic cups and our food on styrofoam plates. For $20/plate I kind of expect real dishes. Our total for 2 adults entrees and 1 kids meal with a soda and a sweet tea came out to about $60 with the tip. Definitely more than I wanted to pay for what we got.
It was a nice drive out and the view of the water and sunset were amazing. If you're just driving I would say check out the view but pass on stopping to eat.

We went today for lunch, quite a few patrons but not too busy. We were seated and our order was promptly taken with a minimal wait for our food. My wife had the shrimp platter & said it was good. I had the crab cakes which were awful. Soft & mushy with no flavor & I don't think any crab was in them. Much better crab cakes at Captain D's! Although this place is near the sea where you would expect fresh seafood I think it was all frozen. Rather disappointing all round since we drove a long way to try it. The road out there is several miles long & very twisty so don't be speeding or drinking too much!

Awesome Seafood joint. Staff was extremely nice, very professional. They truly care about the great service you get. Fried Gator was so delicious, the house onion rings with the fish nut sauce was incredible. Kids enjoyed 2 lbs of crab meat. I got broiled scallops and some fried Gator. Wife got calamari. We all got great food from great servers.

Loved this place! Ordered the catch of the day, Grouper. Mine fried, his broiled, and it was delicious!. Perfectly seasoned, hot and melted in our mouths. His fries were hot, crispy & yummy. Their coleslaw is really good and the complimentary fried onions were a special treat.
No complaints at all! The waitress was friendly & accommodating.
This is a rustic restaurant, they serve your food on plastic plates with plastic dinnerware. BUT, they have ample outdoor seating to enjoy views of the georgeous water and quiet beauty surrounding you.
There is full bar & Coke products are sold.
The building is old and has many additions, but is very clean inside, including the restrooms, and the outside areas are well maintained and grounds manicured.
The ride there was a scenic, old Florida experience and worth the ride.
