Backwater Fins

I remember when this was the Wenches Brew. Still a great place, love it here. Peaceful. Haven't really ate there yet. Just stop by for a couple drinks with friends. Well update when I do. Looks good at least lol.

Great local seafood and drinks! Very laid back and helpful staff. I usually ask for suggestions when somewhere new and everything I've tried at Backwater Fins has been delicious. If you decide to visit here, make sure to try the stuffed cajun angels! If you're bringing a group or a large appetite, I recommend the boils, there is an entire page of different combinations of seafood in a large pot with red potatoes and corn. I've posted some of the recent specials and hope you find the time to take advantage of them. The kitchen closes at 9pm during the week and 10pm on the weekends, but the bar stays open till 11pm (;

We always try to find places on the water. Stumbled upon this a few days ago and decided to come back for dinner. Food was really good. We had the island oysters and the bisque. Both were amazing! My only complaint lies in the atmosphere. Although the servers are attentive, I felt as though they were just going through the motions. They need to add a little life to the place. Friendly, smiling faces work wonders! Maybe some music instead of tvs!
