“We finally got to try Mackies Munchies at their new location on Blanding Blvd in Orange Park. The Gumbo Jumbo with fish was excellent w/#2 spicy. The fried okra was fresh homemade, the jambalaya was awesome #2 spicy, w/ homemade Mac n cheese, and the burger with the fried cheese was a good suprise. The best part if our meal was meeting the owners, great people, with great food. Bring your patience they cook your food to order and it's worth it. Good luck we will be back. “Stopped to get the wifey a late lunch as she and my daughter were out running errands right through lunch time. I missed lunch too so got myself a corndog. Picked up a few of the pretzels for my daughter. We ended up sharing those, they were really good. This isn't a gourmet burger joint by any stretch of the imagination but it hit the spot, worthy of 3 - 3.5 Stars”

“How can I say, McDonald's certainly isn't a AAA rated restaurant but you can expect is the same everywhere you go they have a good quality food at a reasonable price. I do like the way they're trying to experiment and some different additions to their menu like bacon do the sum of their burgers and also by expanding their availability of breakfast at any time really has impressed me as a company who wants to satisfy their customers.”

“Such a good place!!! My husband had the fried shrimp basket (which were massive!) And I had a fish sandwich and it was all so good and freshly fried! “While the service was great and the burgers were fresh, juicy, and flavorful, the initial fries were just short of being stone cold. While they did give us hot, fresh fries when my wife went back up to complain, it would be nice if ALL of the fast food restaurants insured that their patrons received hot fries the first time through the line. It seems to be a common problem in the industry. With a large fry going for $2.69, I don't think that is too much to ask.”

“Pretty solid Jacksonville BBQ joint. G’s is a nice low key cafeteria style restaurant serving a variety of BBQ dishes and sandwiches as well as some pretty awesome sides and desserts We tried the ribs and the brisket on this visit and both were excellent. The ribs were crispy but not to firm on the outside and fall off the bone tender on the inside. The brisket was melt in your mouth good with a clear smoke ring and a variety of sauces for dipping. The sides we tried were all delicious with the exception of the cole slaw which was just way to wet... Dessert was some of the best cobbler I have ever had and we ended up ordering more to take home! A nice restaurant we just happened to stumble into and well worth checking out!”

“Grumpy's is a very good local diner that specializes in big breakfasts. They have a huge menu for breakfast that includes all kinds of omelettes, biscuits, pancakes, and sides. The food is hot, flavorful, fresh, and all of the meats are high quality. They also serve lunch. Service is good. They have a large dining room that's usually pretty full in the morning, and they also have counter top seating right next to the kitchen if you are by yourself.”

“After driving by for months now I remembered to stop in for lunch. I ordered their Cuban sandwich, homemade potato salad and a drink. The Cuban was delicious. It's made fresh and pressed. The potato salad is a family recipe and was great. Spent just under $10 which is fair. Only disappointment was none of the staff danced when the Bee Gees started playing on the radio. Next time... Definitely check them out.”

“Could be a really great place. Wonderful live music on Friday and Saturday nights and the place is packed but they are seriously under staffed. Food is good but often takes a too long to get your order. Drink orders from the bar take quite a while too. Need more servers, bartenders and kitchen staff on band nights.”
