“This was our first time to try Valentina's. We absolutely loved it! All of their dishes and desserts are handmade including the pasta noodles! We ordered a lot of different things so we could try it all out. Garlic knots, Caprese salad, Linguine Terra Di Fuoco, Clam Linguine, side of meatballs, side of sausage. And for dessert: Profiterole and various cookies. All of which was so authentic and fresh! We went to Italy in March and this food is very comparable to the best of what we had there! We can't wait to go back and try more on their menu! Our server Stacey was amazing! She was very friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions and making suggestions. She spent so much time with us and made us feel very welcome.”

“I decided to stop in because they are in my neighborhood and I had never tried them and it's been the best impulse decision I've made all week. I normally don't like corned beef, but I ordered the corned beef sandwich and red pepper gouda soup and it was so delicious and amazing that it changed my view of corned beef altogether. The cabbage was perfectly cooked with a light crisp, it was loaded with beef (and I mean LOADED) and the sauce was sweet and tangy and perfectly complimented the savory beef. “The food was amazing! I was skeptical at first because you don’t find too many good Caribbean restaurants in the Jacksonville area let alone in Orange Park. I ordered the oxtails with rice and peas and OMG 😱 I was not disappointed. The amount of food I received and the taste that gets left in your mouth after every bite. It was seasoned perfectly to even the tenderness of the oxtails. I was able to feed 2 people and still have left overs for tomorrow for just $20. They definitely gained themselves a recurring customer.”

“Came in on Monday for the 70 cent wings and I was very pleased. I got 10 boneless Korean BBQ wings and fries. The flavor was great with just the right amount of heat. Fries were fresh and crispy and tasted delicious with a little malt vinegar. A+”

“Going to pokemoto I wasn’t sure what to expect. Here in Orange Park, food is REALLY hit or miss so I was cautiously optimistic. I’m SO glad we went. We got the salmon miso poke bowl and it was delicious. The fish was fresh, the rice was cooked well, and they have plenty of toppings to make it how you want it. The location itself was clean and the staff was very friendly. This is my new poke spot.”

“Went Friday when they first opened. Was very busy but was in and out pretty quick. Food was perfect and everyone was nice. I’ve been going to the other Blanding location, by 295, for years. “Came around lunchtime no customers. Service was great and food came quickly. Ordered the steak in a sack. They said it was popular. The meat certainly needed more seasoning and I would recommend they chop it up a little bit more because the chunks were a little too big and at times chewy. It did not taste like it was cooked on the grill. It tasted like perhaps they boiled it first and then cooked it to the coloring of the meat it was a pale, gray color. They use banana peppers and provolone cheese and mayonnaise. I would advise him to chop up and mix to cheese and the meat because all the meat was down in the bottom and the cheese was stuck on one side and it was a not a evenly eaten sandwich. I asked if they had hot sauce. They pointed over to the counter where they had a bottle of some standard hot sauce that I certainly know would not taste good on a pita sandwich. I’ve had a lot of pita sandwiches gyros, Greek and Middle East food, and I’m not sure what they’re trying to be here, but it certainly wasn’t authentic by any stretch of the imagination. The food was decent. However, I don’t plan to come here again because it just didn’t taste like something I could imagine eating again.”

“I had the chicken strip and fries and I thought it was really good. That lemon pepper dipping sauce added crazy flavor to the chicken. They also had some good soda flavors that i hadent tried before. The atmosphere was a bit more pick than my liking, but it all worked out. Can't wait to go back!!”

“This was my first time here. The restaurant was set up very nicely and extremely clean. The ladies working were very nice and pleasant to talk to. The bacon and Cuban bread were good, but the eggs needed seasoning. Unfortunately, they were just bland, some salt, pepper, and a little bacon grease would have given them the flavor needed.”

“This is a Haitian grocery store and hot food market. They also sell smoothies, juice and coffee. The grocery store was stocked with a few pantry staples for Haitian cuisine. It seemed to be priced pretty fair. The food was ok. It could have used more seasoning and flavor for my tastes but it was ok. We ordered griot plate and chicken combo with no rice with 2 patties. We thought we would be receiving the pastry patties but we got extra plantain patties. You get a fair amount of food for the money. The chicken combo came with 3 small leg quarters. The griot plate came with diri djon djon black rice and while it was good, it needed more spices and a sauce. The griot didn't come with any sauce. The pikliz was very good. Nice and spicy. The lady at the counter was very nice. I waited approximately 35 minutes for my order. She thanked me for my patience and said everything is cooked fresh. I didn't mind considering everything was served hot. I'm sure if they make a few small changes they can definitely become a local favorite. I will give them another shot and try their smoothies”

“Great service from Heather. The atmosphere was great with lots of team spirit and military pride. Our son loved the cheese pizza that was on special by the slice. Wings were awesome and served with crispy fries and fresh carrots and celery sticks. The build your own burger toppings are plentiful and the beef itself was freshly pattied and cooked up medium how I requested. No frozen, weird patties. Onion rings and sweet potato fries were delicious and crisped back up in our air fryer when heating up leftovers at home. We brought two 18 inch pizzas home for dinner for our family of 8 and had leftovers. The white pizza was our favorite with white sauce, cheesy, garlicky goodness. The cannoli and zeppole were fresh and the chocolate and berry dipping sauce is yum. So nice having a family sports bar/restaurant in Oakleaf! Our son was happy to celebrate his birthday here.”

“A Dominican experience with spices and food most Americans don't experience. Moderately expensive but more food than two meals will require. Empenada's are fantastic. Everything is currently being made fresh so service takes a little while but it is well worth the wait. A great experience for long term victims of the corporate restaurants. Facility is small and bathrooms are clean but a bit cramped, it's a small suite. A comfortable atmosphere all around with unique decorations and painting. Definitely a must visit for new and worthwhile food.”

“The cigar lounge area is a nice vibe. Everyone was enjoying each other’s company. People were playing chess, cards, listening to music, drinking, talking, smoking, eating and tons of laughter. Like with any new spot (2 weeks open) you must be patient. Had to wait for food/drinks and not everything on the menu was available. I can’t say how long the wait time was because we were so wrapped up in: drinking, smoking and talking. The food was good, drinks WEREN’T watered down and cigars were tasteful. On our next visit, we sit in the bar restaurant area.”
