The service is not fast because you have maybe 3 people in the entire place plus 1 cook doing everything, and they do a great job, just relax enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and don't be in a rush. “$22 for breakfast for two kinda steep,, asked for water they brought two bottles of water no good I wanted a glass of water not a $2 bottle maybe the tap water is no good for drinking. I am staying in the area and have been drinking tap water for 2weeks. Not a good business practice to charge for water. I should of told her to take it back but didn't want to be rude. I will not go back sorry.”

“Stopped there during a day trip for a soda. Store is half restaurant and half general store. Decided to get a Rueban sandwich 🥪 and a sweet tea. The sandwich was good and came with potato chips. Limited selection on the store side. Friendly place and feels like time has forgotten this store. Will stop there again just for the nice experience we had. Has one gas pump⛽ beer🍺 and ice🧊.”

“Seriously a true 5 stars, food was fresh cooked perfectly, the prime rib was cooked over a smoker had a fantastic taste and very tender. The others had seafood platters and could not eat it all. Friday Prime rib night, Saturday night fresh BBQ will definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys great food. As of 8/14/20 another great date night eats”

“Overlooking the beautiful Suwanee River. Don't let looks fool you. They have great service and great food. Peter the chef stepped up to the plate. My wife and I have followed Peter around the state because of his passion for quality and food. The stuffed grouper was outstanding. We couldn't believe how good the calamari and Gator tail was. Lightly breaded and tender. Sauteed spinach and mushrooms sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and a pinch of garlic was so impressive as well. We enjoyed the band as well. That was such a great atmosphere.”

“A wonderful historic site. Originally owned by the Putnam family. Now under new management. Beverly and her husband, the new owners, are great . The rooms are nice and clean. The grounds are beautiful. Not far from Tallahassee nor Tampa. They also have event space for over 200 people. At least stop and take a tour. Old Florida at its best.”

“It's diner food. Not bad. We usually stop here for breakfast when passing through because it is right off the main road. They are always busy, but still get the food out pretty quickly. They also have a breakfast buffet if you're Really in a hurry or Really hungry.”

“Workers are always friendly and always get our order right???? we drive to old town instead of Newberry because the atmosphere is way better and their menu is a little different. The only time we have issues is when the owner is there, he is a little slow on the register and serving size is smaller but great place to eat and they have a flat screen playing a family movie most days”

“Enjoyed the buffet, great price. GOOD fried chicken. Husband enjoyed an extremely large plate of fried bay scallops and about a pound of fries. Coleslaw very good. Men's room was extremely dirty, and many tables were bussed but weren't clean. Get your own silverware at the buffet, even if you don't order the buffet. Silverware very smeared, easily wiped clean. If in the area, would try it again, but other than the food, unimpressed. It was a Friday night, but only half the tables had customers.”

“Food was very hot and tasty. Bacon was crisp, eggs cooked perfectly and the sausage patties was very good. Toast was a little hard and only had strawberry jelly. I prefer grape. The coffee was always kept full and plenty of creamer and sugars were on the table. My server was very friendly and efficient Thanks for a great meal”
