Simply Sara's

Simply Sara's is located in an adorable part of town. The setup is quaint. My visit was only mediocre, and I will give a slight benefit of the doubt since I've visited on their anniversary weekend. I arrived for breakfast at 12:37, and I was seated at 1:15. I was no longer able to get breakfast because they quit serving it at 1 p.m. that weekend. Service was fairly slow. We weren't able to order until 1:40 despite having our orders ready when we sat down. We didn't receive food until a little after 3 p.m. By the time we were able to pay and get to-go containers it was almost 4 pm. The cheesecake and cookies were delightful, the food was just okay. Most of my party ended up ordering Burgers of some variety; however, the seafood macaroni and cheese got rave reviews. The wait staff was very apologetic for the wait, but we really never did get any clear reason as to why everything was taking so long. There were several other tables that also waited for extended periods for their orders.

Absolutely delicious food! The pimento cheese was so good. Our server was wonderful! Will definitely be back!

Definitely a wonderful experience. A family owned restaurant with a 10 star personal touch!!! Awesome food. The food reminds you of being at Grandma's house. Homemade no artificial ingredients.

The food, atmosphere, and service brought me back to my childhood. The food is fresh, homemade, and delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful. The setting is peaceful and is like taking a trip back in time. Definitely going to be a favorite.

First time trying Simply Sara's was for Thanksgiving takeout. I chose SS based on great reviews. We ordered several things - from a large cooked turkey, to a few sides and a couple of desserts. Everything was delicious and tasted like I had been in the kitchen all day :) My family was also very pleased. There was one item not ready for pickup the day before, but they hand-delivered it the next day well before we needed it. Thank you Simply Sara's, I will be visiting you again!
