“Ate here for dinner this evening fir the first time. It was an incredible experience. Reservations were made and they were able to accommodate eight people and no one felt cramped for space. We sat in the fine dinning side and the Seabass paired nicely with the wine selection. For dessert I had the bread pudding and a cup off coffee. I've had a wonderful evening here and look forward to coming back again another time. I definitely want to try other dishes and see what else they have to offer.”

“My boyfriend and I stopped at Shoreline Deli (right by Jo Patti's) on Saturday, June 13th 2020 around 2:00PM. We wanted to try something new and both wanted Gyros so we searched Google for "Gyros near me", we were passing the store as we realized they sold Gyros so we turned around↩ and went there as it was the closest place that sold them and had endless good reviews. 🙂 We ordered a Gyro🌯 a piece and a Greek Salad🥗 to split, all the way on both. We did not eat the Greek salad🥗 until the next day as we were so full from the Gyros.(& it was still just as fresh as the moment I bought it) Neither of us finished them in a single sitting either; we ate half in one sitting and half in another (& we can eat some food y'all!) The order was made fresh when we placed it and was made very quickly, giving us just enough time to browse the store. They have some seriously cool food stuff in there from fresh desserts🍰🥧 to drinks (sodas, juices🥤🧃) I've never seen. We ordered two chocolate mousses🍫 and a banana 🍌pudding for dessert and both were absolutely delicious! We bought two bottled drinks and we spent about $32, which I believe is super reasonable! Especially for our anniversary lunch💞❤ We enjoyed every aspect of this little store/deli. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Money well spent and will return.”

“Service was meh, they were nice but the place was understaffed. We waited 20 minutes for our food, not very quick for a fast food place but like I said: Understaffed. Food was okay for me but less so for my parents. My dad's had nothing but a patty on it. My mother's was very poor in quality, and even cold. I wouldn't recommend this place, food wasn't worth the price, and the lobby is closed so no gathering for a chill place. “THIS is absolutely the best fish I have ever had. It is crispy, light, and with a gorgeous color. It's flaky, cooked perfectly and is a wonderful value for the enormous portion sizes. The Jamaican food is too delicious to adequately explain. Ms. Caroline - who is the kindest, friendliest women I have ever met - makes an ox tail dish that is this side of heaven. Ms. Caroline's jerk chicken is such a delicacy that she pure shames 5 star restaurants trying to imitate this savory perfection. She also makes these meat pies with a crust that is a golden wonder with a melt in your mouth flavor combination you wont find anywhere else. I love Ms. Caroline! They say the way to a person's heart is through the stomach, well she and her dishes have certainly made this my favorite place to eat.”

“I'm gonna be honest, the wings didn't wow me, but the chicken & waffles and banana pudding absolutely did. Chicken tenders were well cooked and seasoned, and the waffle was both flavorful and still tasty cold, both of which are rare occurrences in chicken & waffles. Banana Pudding really knocked it out of the park though. Very thick pudding with tons of nilla Wafers and fresh banana slices in a generous cup. Wish there was a boneless wing option, given how good the tenders were.”

“What a great hangout in Pensacola. On the water with great decks and fantastic food. Madison our waitress was great too. Be warned parking is tight. We visited on a Thursday and regular parking lot was full. We had Buffalo wings, blackened chicken and the 1/2 lb burger. All were fantastic and happy hour had 1.50 bud lights and $3 margaritas. If we ever move to Pensacola this will be a regular place 😛”

“I've been wanting to try the food here for awhile now. This is a cafe inside a church. They serve Soul food. I ordered the white meat chicken dinner, which came with two sides , a roll or cornbread. I chose mash potatoes and Mac & 🧀. My dining partner ordered the same meal with greens and yams being the sides. We both chose the cornbread. We also ordered bananas pudding for dessert. I was so disappointed with the chicken. It appeared that it had been kept warm by steam as the skin had a wrinkled appearance and the meat was very dry. My dining partner could not eat hers. She said that her sides were delicious and did finish those. The Mac & cheese was good but the potatoes appeared to be instant and had an odd flavor which seemed to be coming from the gravy. The sweet tea had an odd taste as well. The banana pudding was delicious, however the bananas used were not ripe. The price was $15 a plate with dessert and drink. I plan on giving another chance and will try the fried smothered pork chops when I do.”

“Ate at the Island Kitchen for lunch today for the first time. Ordered the small Curry Chicken with Yellow Rice, Cabbage, and Plantains for $10.50 plus water for total of $11.50. Portion size is more than enough for me, I'm 240bls and was satisfied when finished. The cashier smiled the whole time I was placing my order ( I think she thought I am cute). Restaurant atmosphere is inviting and refreshing. Love the checkered table clothes. I really enjoyed my experience and will gladly pay the extra $2 to eat in a comfortable and enjoyable restaurant.
