Our first time there. Great looking menu. Really nice bartender and waiter. Very attentive, very professional. Very cordial. Four of us dining. We tried 5 different things on the menu. Apple stix salads. House salads, Shrimp beignets, pimento cheese dish, mahi/mahi. Can see the potential of this restaurant but execution of most of our choices was not very good. It's like the cook of chef was not tasting the dishes prior to sending them out.

Apple stix salad was almost pure vinegar for the dressing which was overpoweringly tart. We had a hard time eating it due to the high acidic level vinaigrette. Mahi/Mahi stated served with a White Butter Sauce. No sauce on the fish when served. And the fish was substantially overcooked. Croutons on the House salads with shrimp were old, stale, and hard without being properly baked. House pickles on the Pimento cheese appetizer were also pure vinegar'd, with no other complimentary taste. The fried flat bread for the Pimento dish was spot on. The pan charred shrimp on the house salads were very good. The shrimp beignet's dough was still raw on the interior but was properly fried for exteriors. Brown and crispy. Under fried substantially or at too low of temperature in the oil and not long enough.

The beverages were all good. Glass of wines, iced tea, and small brewed beer batch. Waiter/barkeep was first class. If the cook could execute properly these dishes probably would have been a very good restaurant. May just need time for them to learn how to mature enough to present much better dishes. To start with the chef simply needs to sample each dish before she sends it out. Would have known immediately about the too much vinegar thing, the severely undercooked beignets, the lack of White Butter sauce on the overcooked Mahi, the old tired croutons, etc.

As I mentioned this place has the potential to be really good, just not anywhere near that yet for proper execution. Will wait a while and then go back to try different dishes than what we ordered. I sincerely hope they mature up rapidly.

We had our first dining experience at this cute restaurant tonight. The owner and wait staff were delightful . The food was really good and the prices were on point for this type of establishment . Good job!

So pleased this place is finally open! The time and effort put into the carefully curated interior design and menus is greatly appreciated. Fresh and innovative takes on some of your favorite dishes will surely keep you coming back to try more!

In addition to the bar and bistro style seating, there is an adorable patio and a gorgeous view of the bay from nearly anywhere you sit.

    10/10 would recommend!

What an incredible place. The staff are super friendly and the food is absolutely amazing! We started with he oysters from a Indian lagoon (just down the road), and they we’re so delicious and fresh. Then we split the scallops and fresh catch…both were off the charts. We finished with the upside down pineapple cake and I would highly recommend it. Thank you so
much Keeper’s…we had a blast. We will definitely be back on our next trip to PSJ.
