My husband and I had a wonderful evening dining at The White Marlin while vacationing at Cape San Blas last week. The service was great and the food even better! The head chef provided a top notch experience and the dining staff were very gracious. We would definitely recommend!! If I had to say one negative thing about this place it was the fact that we were not able to dine outside due to a staffing shortage. All in all a great restaurant!

What a beautiful place in such a tiny town. My wife and I went for dinner on a weekend night and were utterly amazed by the level of detail in this restaurant. It's one of the more beautiful settings we've been to for quite some time. The menu is not overly verbose and is actually quite simple. This was the second time my wife had been in my first. She liked the grouper so much that she ordered it again, and I had the rib eye. We started with six oysters from their oysterette, and they were delicious. I would have expected more local options for oysters, though. The fish was prepared superbly in my steak was a bit overcooked after requesting medium rare. The sides, Brussels, and French-prepared mashed potatoes were large enough that we took some of them home.

The entrance to the restaurant boasts a vast wine room, but the menu selections are minimal. I'm not sure if they have bottle service but if you are a wino, I would call ahead and ask what the corkage fee is. The only negative that I will note is we requested a table at the chef's bar and we're seated at a table away from that area. when asked to be moved to our original seating location, the Hostess said none were available. At the same time, eight empty seats were at the bar near the kitchen.

This was our first trip to Port St Joe. We looked this place up and wanted to go somewhere special for our anniversary. We selected the chef bar seating where we could watch the chefs and interact with them. To say impressive is an understatement bc. From the food to the ambiance to the service, everything was perfect. The steak was one of the best steaks I have had anywhere ever. 10/10 would recommend. We will definitely be returning.

We have dined at The White Marlin 4 times now. Each experience has been incredible. The Chef’s Bar is dinner and a show. The cuisine, cocktails, service and sunsets are unparalleled. This restaurant is an overall fine dining TREAT. It’s special. The food is perfectly prepared using meticulously selected, superior ingredients. Every single bite sends your taste buds on a flavorful trip to paradise. One look at the sunset and you know you’re actually there. Will definitely be a regular!

This is the ONLY fine dining establishment in town thus far! We are honeymooning and this made for a superb date night experience!

We travel all over the Country and therefore eat out frequently so we know good food.
Staff was very professional and they seemed to have a nice flow for such a new restaurant. It was a beautiful presentation with beautiful views and phenomenal food. Chef knows what he's doing.

Everything seemed fresh and that's a must if you are near the sea. We recently went to another restaurant in town based off the "fine dining and 5 star" reviews and were so disappointed. Everything had been frozen even the bread. The scallops there were the size of Kix cereal nuggets so we were thrilled with our experience here and will be returning next week.

Also a big shout out to our waitress Caitlin last night. She was lovely and did so well helping me navigate through my allergy issues. I often get sick after eating out but had 0 issues.
