I am originally from Nottingham England. My family and myself are always looking for authentic English cuisine. We have found many restaurants that come really close, but we have never found a place that got English chips quite right until now. I had the chicken and mushroom pie and chips. It was DELICIOUS and the chips tasted just like those in GB. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The owner Phil actually took time out to speak with us and reminisce about the good old days in England. We will definitely be back!
Great service and ice cold Carlesburg and Old Speckled Hen!
Sadly- not sure why they would put cilantro on a lamb burger!! I love lamb, HATE cilantro and ordered it- would not have thought an English pub would put it on their burger. Sadly I couldn’t eat it my meal but wife liked it. Please put your ingredients on the menu next time. But it’s my crazy personal taste so I still give 5 stars.
Otherwise great place and solid selection of English beers.
The place is fun. Food is great. They have a wide beer list and you can sing karaoke. It's open until 2.00 AM. Who could ask for more?
Went for dinner here in beautiful Mt Dora, Fl. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the scenery. The service here was great, I had the Shepard Pie with a beer. The food was very good but my only complaint was the beer. I got the aluminum can Mich ultra and it was warm. I ordered a Mich light. So, I didn't get the beer I wanted and it was warm.
5 stars isn't enough for this place! The owners and staff are just wonderful people. The hospitality and warmth the 7 of us received when we came in is just not seen anymore.
To the incredible Lady who served us the Shepard's pie even after the kitchen was closed, Thank you. Your kindness and will not ever be forgotten by me, or the rest of the Band.
