Olive Branch Mediteranean - Italian

Cocktails were weak, but food was delicious. Service was outstanding. I got shrimp scampi and it was different, served on a bed of rice, but the flavor was wonderful. My husband special ordered a salmon Caesar salad with no problem. This meal was moderate to high priced.

That rich store had not seen any like this, of all kinds of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. It is located in Mount Dora, a beautiful city with very friendly people. I have been traveling to Florida for over 20 years and it seemed like a hidden city because of its beautiful shops, restaurants, Cuban cafes and very friendly people.

For several years we have been going for an overnight to Mt. Dora in the fall and spring. Until this visit we had not found a restaurant that we could say we enjoyed for good food. However, at this visit we had a great meal at the Olive Branch. This was due to good food and excellent service. Server Sam was pleasant and she was attentive and seemed to genuinely enjoy being that way. I expect at our next visit we will revisit the Olive Branch.

Came by boat, it is near the dock in Mount Dora. My choice was a Gyro, French fries and a Caesar salad. It was good although the meat portion was small. The staff, was great.
My biggest complaint, ONLY 1 toilet each for the men and women. In a restaurant that holds over 80 people that is ridiculous.
There were 4-6 women waiting in a line that extended into the dining area.

Great food and even better service! Olive Branch is great for either lunch or dinner. This time around I stopped in for lunch and was very satisfied. They have great lunch specials and the staff here is awesome. Highly recommend their French Onion soup, I get it every time. The gyro lunch entree is huge too. You will not be disappointed at all. Bartender was amazing as well! Definitely recommend for someone looking for Mediterranean or Italian cuisine!
