“This quant little shop is tucked among others within a building, a bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the multiple rooms like I was. Once I found it, I was greeted with excited staff and they let me order a surprise drink (I suppose it would be chef's choice). Oh my goodness! Fresh, sweet, tasty and full of fruit flavor! You can tell the owner does not skimp out on only the best ingredients in her smoothies. I did meet her and she was a delight to talk to! It was like a friend I had forever. “HOMEMADE WHIPPED CREAM?! I followed my nose into this place because it smelled so good… Great service and great food. The fruit on the waffles were fresh and that homemade whipped cream was amazing. The chicken and waffles were yummy! Perfect amount of chicken, nicely breaded. The waffles are good enough to be eaten plain, honestly. Pricing is very fair for the quality. Coffee is hot and strong. “El Mezcal is "on the rotation" whenever we're in the mood for Mexican food. In the half-dozen or so times we've been there in the past few months, we've found the food to be consistently fresh with generous portion sizes, good service, and reasonable prices. Restaurant is clean, decorated nicely, with a great bar and Mexican music playing at just the right volume.. Be warned, you may wait a while for a table on weekend evenings, but the wait is worth it. Strongly suggest that when "Benny" comes around with his guacamole cart, don't turn him down!”

If you’re looking for a spot to get fresh and delicious food that’s slightly off the beaten path, look no further, Funko’s is your place. I’m a huge poke fan and have enjoyed poke around the world. I was pulled in by the fun logo and charmed by the lovely service. The fish was so fresh and flavored just right, toppings were plentiful, and there was a care and attention to the quality that was exceptional. Next time I’m in Mt Dora I’ll be sure to stop by and try something new. Funko’s only recently opened, it will be exciting to see it thrive!”

“Was pretty good. I enjoyed everything that I got. Had a chicken sandwich and a burger with fries and onion rings. Both were tasty, but I think the fries were better then the onion rings in my opinion. Chicken was juicy inside, and the burger was cooked exactly as I asked. “Great little spot! We have become regulars! Rooster one of the bartenders is super nice, very knowledgeable and super friendly. We also met Victoria the manager the other night and she was great as well! Pricing is $6 for all drinks makes it easy. It’s craft beer and it’s good! Cozy little place inside the new marketplace. They have the most amazing popcorn from Brown Bag popcorn co. Worth trying the 2 sweet flavors we have tried have been the best I’ve ever had. We highly recommend a stop in.”
