They were very hard to find even with a map - they are way in the back of an older large complex with no signs for the business that I saw on 41. Inside was good and the food was okay but not great. “The old Buddha is DEAD. Thankfully, it's been reincarnated into a much improved venue — Buddha LIVE. I stopped in last night after hearing that the bar was under new management and it is obvious that the new owner(s) have been hard at work cleaning the place up. The old ever-present smell of stale beer and cigarette smoke is almost completely gone, the stage has gotten a facelift, new games have been added to the back rooms, fresh faces are serving up drinks behind the bar, and the whole building is the cleanest I've ever seen it. So far the place appears to be maintaining its dark and divey rocker vibe, but without the literal grunge. Buddha has come a long way from the last time I was here, and from what I heard last night they're just getting started with what they have planned. Very excited to see this venue evolve into something bigger & better.”

“My husband and I can't wait to order here again! We recently moved back to the area and I was stoked to get Rib City again, and my husbands never had it. This new location opened up and we wanted to give it a try. We ordered the pick 2 and pick 3 combos. I did BBQ beef and a half rack of ribs. My husband ordered the smoked turkey, half rack of ribs and pulled pork. We were both super happy with our meals. The smokey-ness in the meats tasted delicious, the rib meat fell off the bone and was so flavorful. I could have piled that BBQ beef a mile high on my toast, it was just so amazing. The sides were also a star of the show on their own. I've been pretty disappointed in Mac and cheese sides from places recently, so I guess I went into this expecting it to be bland and tasteless but man it was saucey cheesy goodness. The bbq beans were also amazing, nice sweet and very slight pepper flavor to them...couldn't get enough of them. I highly recommend this location. Staff was nice when we did a pick-up order, they gave us lots of extra sauces when I asked and the price was VERY reasonable compared to going out other places.”

Great service..but what stuck out most for me was this...i must say being a Romanian , my grandmother and others in the family tried for many years to get me to try "tripe" soup (ciorba de burta). I couldnt ever stand it, i would stay out of the house for hours when it was made in our household, but i tried Chris's (owners) and i can safely say that i liked his. Remember if i cant stand the stuff and actually ate a bowl it must be good. The homemade bread and Zacusca (eggplant spread) i also noticed people were enjoying. One lady who walked in while i was there tried a piece of sarmale (stuffed cabbage) and ended up ordering some to go so i guess she loved what she found. Best of all the owner will make sure you leave well fed and taken care of. POFTA BUNA”

“Such a great place to eat. Delicious food, and super employees. Everyone is so friendly, and answered all my questions about the cuisine. They serve delicious real fruit smoothies. I definitely recommend getting a smoothie! They have amazing noodle soup, so yummy. For lunch they have a special where you get added to your lunch selection, a spring roll and ice tea for only a dollar more! The food was great. It was real, home cooked quality. I highly recommend this restaurant. Conveniently located, plenty of parking, in the Sams club shopping mall.”
