“Came for fmb film festival. 2nd time here. It's clean, relaxed vibe, a nice time overall. My one complaint is that they never get your concession order right. I know it's mostly young ones working it but I worked at a movie theater when I was 15 and the manager was leaving me in charge because I was so good.. of the whole place... so... it's hard to be understanding of why my drink order is always wrong or my candy is missing, etc. So some training is definitely needed but everyone (staff) was very sweet and friendly.”

“I've been there twice, and both times the food was great. Today, I got the baked Ziti on take out. When I got there, my food was ready. It was delicious, with plenty of Parmesan cheese. They even gave me some bread to go with it. It was some kind of French bread that smelled and tasted great. The employees are friendly, and all the girls who work there are cute. Thanks a lot! I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about, but it's probably due mainly to ignorance. Someone mentioned that the olive oil tasted funny. That's because real Italian restaurants use extra virgin olive oil, not the flavorless refined olive oil you buy at the store. It's like the difference between unrefined coconut oil and the refined coconut oil that has no smell or flavor. Someone else mentioned that the bread was stale. The time I ate in, the bread was hard/dry, but I think it's supposed to be, since you're going to be dipping it in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. If the bread is soft and full of water, it wont absorb the oil and vinegar very well.”

“I've been here several times since they opened and I was always happy and satisfied with their meal and service until this trip. In the past I would ask to have fried okra instead of french fries and would be accommodated without a problem. But this trip that changed and I was charged the price of a full order of okra which was shocking. I spoke with the manager on duty who explained the change (stating that was a limited time special and the okra substitute was the size of a full portion order) which I had never been told before on any of my prior visits. I suggested he charge a lower price (1.50) instead of the full price for the change because now I'm not getting a meal but I'm actually paying for 2 selections which is no longer a advertised special/meal combo. I left disappointed with the service and try their competitor Hooks Seafood and made the same request and was charged a small fee only for the change (out of curiosity). I hope my request doesn't fall on deaf ears and management listens to their customer's”

“We ordered the caramofongo, bistec encebollado, pollo a la plancha, chimi and passion fruit juice. The caramofongo and chimi were great, the other two entrees were ok, a little different (tostones were not crispy, they were salty, but seemed more like platanos maduros). We wanted a Cuban, but they didn’t have the press machine to make it. The passion fruit juice was not good, seemed like a powder mix. I’d recommend calling ahead and placing the order if you don’t want to wait too long, but they were right on with the estimated time, and we got a side of plátanos courtesy of the house. A bit pricey for a food truck, but we would definitely come back and try other items.”
