“Best Chinese in town. The wonton soup is delicious meal for two and the Pork Ma Po Bean Curd is the best I’ve had in this country. Eggs rolls are light and crispy. During pandemic: just pull up to the store, stay in your car, and a waitress will eventually get to you. Usually only one server and she’s running. Hope to eat in store again some day.”

“Island wing company is a nice place that has some tasty, guilt-free wings (since everything in the restaurant it baked.) I had 10 wings - 5 with the jerk dry rub and the other 5 sweet Thai chili. The jerk rub was great! Not too hot and even had a hint of sweetness. The sweet Thai chili wings were good as well. I really enjoy the crispness of their fries.”

“My 6 year old and I stopped here for lunch on our way home from Pensacola down to Tampa. - The experience was delightful. The staff were generous and very helpful to everyone. My son truly enjoyed watching the cooking on the hibachi- especially the volcano part. This is a great place to take the little ones. (Though it may seem pricey I can not stress enough how much food you get and how enjoyable the experience is.) Highly recommend”

“This is one of my favorite places to eat, hands down. Almost everything is customizable, and I haven’t had a bad dish yet. Because most of it can be customized, this is an ideal place for vegetarians as well. And their hot sauces... I could write epic poems about their hot sauces. True story: I moved to Georgia for several years, but I still had local friends mailing me bottles of Tijuana Flats’ hot sauces. My personal recommendations are #1 Jason’s Mom and #2 Smack My Sweet @$$ And Call Me Sally. They’re both delicious, and even a novice hot sauce fan can tolerate them. They only get better — and hotter — from there. If you order ahead, be sure to use their website or mobile app for points towards freebies. Get on their mailing list too, so you always know what specials are going on. They have double points days and throwback price days and so much more. You can’t go wrong here.”

There is a lively atmosphere and as soon as you step into the restaurant their large collection of culinary awards are on display. All of which are well deserved and hard earned. The ambiance and wait staff are very pleasant. Diverse selection on the menu and it is easy to choose a suitable meal. The food was delicious and served promptly. Would definitely recommend.”

Service friendly and professional and speed (food turnaround) has been fast every time (been there about 5 times). 100% recommend. LOVE the coconut soup- always get it as an appetizer 😁. Portion sizes are always enough and if you have some discipline, you will have some to take home. Cozy no frills dine in available. Take out seems to always be rolling hard; see people rolling in and out throughout dine-in meal; this place is frequented by many diverse people.”

“If you're in the mood for Italian cuisine this place has it all. Settled in the corner of a small shopping center it's a rare treasure near Lake Jackson. The atmosphere and decor resembles that of an Italian bistro with delectable pasta dishes and wonderful garlic rolls. We had lasagna and washed it down with a bottle of sangria. A bit pricey, but worth every penny! I highly recommend this place for dinner. Staff members said Saturday night is best, as Friday nights tend to be more busy. We will be returning here.”

“Thank you to this Hungry Howie's, which helped salvage an evening. I had originally ordered and paid for Papa John's online. However, when I went to Papa John's (the Lake Jackson location) the store tried to charge me substantially more than what I paid online. I showed them the receipt and the store flatly refused to do anything except charge an incorrect price. In the end, I walked out and ordered Hungry Howie's from the parking lot. Had my order in 20 minutes. Problem solved! And the pizza and cheesesticks are consistently good.”
