“Been to Darrell's Diner at other locations and this location was excellent in both service and food as the others. Had a Reuben sandwich while my friend had breakfast, both of which were served as ordered. Tried a unique dessert, peanut butter and jelly cake; was ok, very rich, and was a generous slice. Service was excellent, checked on often, but not overbearing. Can't lose at Darrell's Diner.”

“I think this might be the best food in Ocala. I could eat there everyday, and NEVER get tired of them! The owners keep the place incredibly clean, and serve INCREDIBLE food. The desserts are so delicious, and I'm working on sampling everything across the board that they have to offer. I see others feel they're overpriced, but TBH, to me... they're more than affordable. Plus, they always put a personal touch on everything they do. It feels like home, and I'm not even Spanish.”

“Talk about a hidden gem!!!! The food was very good. Reminded my of the old time cafeteria thing (when food used to be good from them places). Staff was very nice. Took me back a decade or so... when the sandwiches were big and held some home made feel to them. Can I find a better sandwich? Probably yeah, but for what it was, was very tasty. Will I recomend this over some fancy place? Yes!!! Very reasonably priced! Fresh lettuce and tomatoes, maybe a bit more meat (being picky I guess). Let the pics do the talking...”

“My oldest son and I had an enjoyable experience here. The place wasn't packed, the service was good (and friendly), the food was hot, the beverages were HUGE, and everything was freshly made. The restaurant is fairly new and very clean. There are plenty of BBQ options. The portions are nice and the price is good. My pulled-pork was tender and flavorful. The Red Neck Egg Rolls were a great appetizer and definitely worth having!!”

“Well heres the thing. This particular place they were working their butts off. Reason it looks like half the staff showed up. After you ordered it was 20 to 30 minutes to get your order. KFC has a reputation of nasty restaurant accommodations and this was no exception. So 30 minutes was like a partial forever. Food unfortunately is always fattening yet tasty so no matter how long goes by, we end up going back. Nasty place, yummy food”

“Service is ALWAYS good, servers are all very pleasant and attentive to your needs, managers come around to check on you to see how everything is, such as does the food taste good. The hosts try to seat you right away and are friendly with nice smiles. The gift shop always has the nicest people willing to help in any way they can, especially pointing out the sale items that you might be interested in or new items they just received. I buy quite a lot of my clothes there at a great price and the quality is excellent. I am always complimented on my clothes and jewelry that I buy to match my outfits.”

The managers should be happy they definitely are watching their portion control but far as the customer goes it sucks when you ask for extra you want a lot of extra. Just three more.
