Restaurant

“I was driving down Bird Rd when I saw THE sign to food truck that blew my expectations with some amazing Lebanese food. I honestly didn't expect the flavor of the shawarma and falafel I tried. I haven't tried any Mediterranean food this good in quite some time and they made me a believer. Please try the combo beef and lamb shawarma, it's mouthwatering flavor in every bite. I'm glad I saw the sign..”

“When it comes to a home away from home meal, I recommend the kitchen at Madruga Cafe. I have been coming here for years and today I had the usual. I haven't had this since 2017. Still as good as it was 6 years ago. Nothing fancy inside and a small place; but sitting on the atoll is a must. That's old skool.”

This food truck is amazing. The food was fresh & tasted great. I had their chicken sandwich & my cousin had their steak sandwich. They were both finger licking good. Great size portions & prices were fair. We recommend this food truck to everyone.”

A lovely combo. Only problem is their water, it’s not filtered well. I suggest getting a cold water bottle. Enjoy”

“This is a restaurant nestled in the middle of a peaceful neighborhood, so you might not ever even know it exists. But don't let that fool you, the food is absolutely delicious and it is nicely decorated, perfect for bringing your gf/wife to take pictures. We had a brunch and ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch items. The owners are incredibly kind and accomodating to special requests. I ordered pechuga de pollo with two fried eggs and to stones. My wife ordered the vaca frita with rice, black beans, and maduros. My daughter had two fried eggs and rice and a tostada. We all had café con leche to drink. The food was absolutely delicious! I cannot state highly enough how good the food is! If you're in the area or looking for something new, then come here!”

El Taquito

Address: 13911 SW 42nd St, Miami, FL 33175, USA

Restaurant

“For being in Kendall what a great ambience a little spot to go to for a super cute, reasonably priced amazing, authentic Mexican food restaurant. The happy hour was unbelievable two-for-one margaritas I definitely recommend as well as also the mules. The bartender was absolutely amazing. His suggestions were on point and the food was absolutely spectacular. I would have to say my favorite part of interaction with this bartender is that he tells me he is an authentic Mexican. Therefore, he was suggesting the best plates from the restaurant and based off of his opinion. He did not disappoint in anyway shape or form. I have referred this restaurant to several people already and I will definitely be back.”

Jealous Fork

Address: 14417 SW 42nd St, Miami, FL 33175, USA

Restaurant

“Absolutely delicious food! The staff was friendly and gave us a good idea of what to expect, favorites and recommendations. We had started with the pork belly bites which were scrumptious. My wife had the jealous burger that came with a tasty tomato-pablano jam. She absolutely loved it. I had the steak sandwich that was small, but very flavorful and filling so I can’t complain. The pancakes take 15-20, but the waitress set the expectation upfront which was much appreciated. The pancakes are absolutely worth the wait. I’d absolutely recommend coming trying this place out.”

It’s pretty pricey, i paid $14 for chicken tenders & fries because I added a side of cheese sauce. Overall not a bad place but it didnt blow me away either”

Everything on the menu is cooked fresh 10 feet away from you. The restaurant is family owned and operated. Really a perfect well rounded restaurant. Single order only! Make sure you over order or else you’ll be upset. Pro tip- Thai tea is amazing if you like sweet drinks.”

Domino's Pizza

Address: 1575 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135, USA

Meal delivery Meal takeaway Restaurant

“This is an explanation to all of the people with negative comments about the customer service, delivery time, wrong address ect. We are one of the dominos in the city of Miami that gets really busy this time of year we are very understaffed…which means we don’t have enough personnel to give great service THATS not an excuse but it is a cause. I myself am an employee there and it’s very difficult to deal with too many things at ones. I get the concerns and the complaints but it all just kind of seems very one sided. You guys act like you have never worked in a fast food chain with much work we try our best to reach everybody’s concerns and we understand but you guys have to understand aswell. As for wrong addresses in delivery, I recommend that before you finish placing an order either through the app or online or even through the phone you should verify the address. Online it changes addresses especially if it’s not automatically put from being a regular customer so that’s an easier way to stop wrong addresses and misunderstanding from happening. Inside carry out customer service. That’s more than likely on a busy day because other than that our carry out employee go above and beyond to give great service to customers in the store. You can always ask and will receive customer is always right. Other than I apologize sincerely and if you have any comments or concerns you may come back again and ask for me. I’m always willin and open to take care of problems.”

AHI SUSHI BAR

Address: 1527 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135, USA

Restaurant

“Had the Omakase experience. Brian and his assistant Focus (might be different spelling) provide mouthwatering after mouthwatering selections that were unforgettable. The thin sliced tuna toro with uni and the torched scallops and the Spanish mackerel were highlights in a meal that had no low lights. Thank you Brian and Focus, can’t wait to come back.”

El Cristo Restaurant

Address: 1543 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135, USA

Restaurant

“I know its been a staple for this area for a long time but I was a bit disappointed in the sense of expecting some Cuban food. After talking with my server and asking a few questions about certain dishes, ended up with the pork dish - Solomillo. On its own, not a bad dish, for something I’d find at a diner, but this being an authentic Cuban restaurant, it was lacking. The pork was a bit over cooked, lacked ANY seasoning at all, which the menu said it was seasoned with Caribbean spices. The mushrooms on top were the canned version, which i love canned mushrooms but they did not add anything special to this dish. The rice and plantains were quite good. Saw the recommendations about their mango mojitos, and that too lacked flavor; in the sense that it was light in mango and also in mint. As a light refreshing drink, not bad but didn’t sway either way in a flavor profile. The service was quite good and their outside dining was neat. Will have to say that their interior decor/setting is a bit dated and could use a little more flare. I’d be apt to come by again and try another dish, but as is with a couple of other Cuban restaurants right in the neighborhood that have a bit more ambience and live music and if they match the quality of food or better then I’d be easily swayed to go to one of them. So if you’re going to rest your reputation on being an authentic Cuban restaurant then your food alone better knock it out of the park.”
