“Amazing local place! No sign on the road it is word of mouth for travelers. We did the sunset booze cruise and more than got our monies worth on the complimentary alcohol! The sunset was incredible. The staff was fun and friendly, not crowded in early January. We even met the owner briefly as we were leaving and he was a very cool, neat guy. Food was great. There are many activities like snorkeling and kayaks, shops and a restaurant. Must go if you're in Islamorada!”

“Brought my mom here for breakfast. The basics done right here at this unassuming dockside cafe. The eggs were scrambled in perfectly thin layers, the corned beef hash and hashbrowns crispy. Kudos to cook Hector for delivering on this breakfast. Server Cathy was smiley and eager to assist. Would come back next time in ISLAMORADA.”

“Service was good and very friendly. We brought fish we caught and it was awesome! The Lazy Day fish seasoning is very tasty and for a family meal was well worth it. Great view and nice place. Facilities were clean and orderly in our visit. Would and will be back when the weather is warmer and can experience it at the hot time of year. All my family gave it 5 stars and stuffed themselves. I’d say the could use bigger bathrooms, we’ll at least for the men. Cannot speak for the gals. There little sharks swimming along the shore we could see by the torch lights. Nice job Lazy Days!”

“Visited just after Memorial Day during a trip through the Keys and while we did not stay at the resort, it was looking for lodging establishments that I discovered this place. The food was good with generous portions and server accomodated our requests like no bread or no sugar easily, if only the flies would have let us enjoy our meal and not run us out so quickly. Perhaps some citronella or something?”

“Been visiting the Islamorada area of the Florida Keys for years and the Midway Cafe has never disappointed. Great coffee, sandwiches, salads, smoothies and more. Great little outside seating area if you want to enjoy the fresh air of the keys. The inside also sells some arts and crafts of local keys residents. I'd recommend Midway Cafe if you're driving through the area.”

“Visiting Florida for the first time actually, didn’t know what to expect. Coming from New York, i pride myself on having a well-developed pallet. Came across this place and it was spectacular. The entire experience was sensational - from the friendly and accommodating service, to the magnetic ambiance, and the unearthly food. Can safely say that it was one of the best all-around dining experiences thus far in my life. Will absolutely come back here again (and may even consider retiring down here after this experience!)”

“As a local, I welcome any new restaurant adventure since there are few and very far between. This place so far is amazingly TASTY. We had the naan fajita steak and roasted octopus...YUM. “Peak times is crowded and has a waiting list to be seated because it's that good. Fantastic food and great service. If you are in a rush, they have a bakery case for you to order items to go. Gloria and Bob do a great job with their special order cakes and everyday baked goods. Years ago I coordinated weddings at a local Islamorada resort and they were (still are) our go-to for wedding cakes. They always taste amazing and are BEAUTIFUL! Our family stops by whenever we are back in the area and they have never disappointed.”

“Shrimp fritters were excellent and great beer, wine, and cocktail selection. Shrimp chowder & she crab soup were alright (would have preferred the she crab be thicker) and better when paired with grilled cheese. Greek salad was better than average, and there were other good salad options. Would have liked to try the shrimp combo platter thing. Fish plate wasn't too exciting, nor were waffle cut fries. Large menu, with a variety of desserts. Sweet tea was good southern style and rapidly refilled, excellent service.”
