“Great. Just 1 complaint I have and not sure if this is normal. I ordered the southwest burrito and it was very small. Very disappointing for almost $7 to get a half of a burrito size where it's 1 egg. It tasted great but for the size definitely not wory $7. The Croissants egg sandwich was bigger for just $4 I have small/average size hands. Not very long fingers and it is smaller than my hand.”

“Was sad to see the location in Waycross closed down but tried this location while on the annual vacation to the area. Came in at a slow time of the day so service was of course excellent, can’t really judge that unless it’s decently crowded, but the food was just as good as the WayX location and their decor and other attributes were fine as well.”

“What great seafood and service! Generous portions. $10.99 lunch meals, $14.99 dinner meals. We happened by on Friday first visit, went back on Monday for the large size 30 shrimp for $16.99, half fried and half grilled with 2 sides. Happened to accidentally meet Abe's uncle and he was so thrilled to hear our satisfaction he took me to meet Abraham, swell guy, so friendly.”

“We are from out of town but were in the Jacksonville/ Callahan area for a funeral. Part of our party got turned around trying to meet here for supper, causing us to arrive right at closing time. The ladies here didn't complain a bit with our late arrival and provided excellent service despite the fact it was after closing time when we finished. “Possibly a future great "Hole-in-the-wall" restaurant!! You get a large quantity of good fried food for the money. The fish and shrimp is REALLY fresh and seems to be hand battered at the time they cook it. The batter is excellent. It's not your ordinary pre-battered food. Building is old and dated but they did the best they could for what they had to work with. I've lived in this area for nearly 40 years. I've seen restaurants come and go here. If the food and service remains consistent BJ's S&SB will be around for some time.”

“Giving a 3 only because the new night shift sucks. I've been in there 2 times with he same new night shift and they don't wash their hands. Went last week and the one lady started my sandwich and the other finished it. The 2nd lady came off the register and was reaching for gloves when I asked if she wash her hands. I used to work for subway so I know the trouble you can get into when an inspector comes. So then she proceeds to be super slow washing her hands and putting her gloves on. The morning shift is great and the manager is too. I only go now in the mornings when I know the manager is there and things are done the way they are supposed to be.”
