Ale & Compass is a great spot for relaxing lunch or dinner on Disney property. The Parker House rolls are absolutely worth getting. Not only are they great rolls, but the three spreads with it are all fantastic. All of the entrees I’ve gotten have been tasty. Nothing mind blowing mind you, but always consistent and good with your standard quality of service from Disney.
Absolutely an amazingly DELICIOUS early mother's day dinner. Scott, our waiter, was fantastic. This restaurant is somewhere between casual and signature dining. The food was fantastic, we loved it, so I definitely see ourselves going back there and eating again. It's a definite recommendation from me to you.
Went for the breakfast buffet. It is a bit unique. You select an entree and have access to the buffet area which is fruits, cold cuts, biscuits and gravy, and some pastries. That's all for $24, a really nice way to start the day if you're around the Yacht and Beach. Both my entree and the buffet lacked a little quality compared to the environment but service was excellent and it was nice and quiet. I was able to try the french toast, blueberry pancakes, and open face steak sandwich with roasted potatoes. French toast was best.
This restaurant is located on Disney Yacht Club Resort and it was a great dining experience. We didn't have reservations but we were able to sit at the counter outside one of their kitchen spaces and I always find it fun to watch chefs do their job, so that was good. The service was quick and attentive and the manager even came by to check in, which I always think is a nice touch. The food was quite good as well. The seafood pot pie was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a good place to eat in one of Disney's resorts.
Food and service was good. It was worth the experience. The food portions tended to be to the small size, but we were full when we left. The pricing is in the medium range. We really enjoyed the butterscotch pudding. You have to make reservations several weeks ahead to ensure seating.
