“Not sure why this place has a low rating. The food prices are similar to others in the area, so no complaints there. The food is really great. Mustard sauce was delicious and the pulled pork was great. The ladies are great here, maybe a bit sassy for most people, but I think it's hilarious and they're super nice. “We were at Matthews Steakhouse on the 19th the other evening. As always it was a lovely evening. Food was very lovely and very good. Desserts are also just so Heavenly. Steaks perfect as always. “Modern decor, which could make the noise in a restaurant amplified, but were we sat, we could hear each other without shouting. It made the dining experience more pleasant. The service was efficient and pleasant but not fast. Specials the night we were there was a choice of four different cuts of steak (they must have bought a cow at the market!) Appetizers were interesting and varied. We got the seafood tower, tasty but some of the items weren't cold enough. Skip the desserts!! It was a lovely evening, but if you are not in the mood to burn gasoline, it's probably not worth the drive...”

“The Roper Garden Building is a facility that houses many venues. The way Google has it listed it seems to imply it's a bar and/or restaurant. At the time of this review it houses a local restaurant called Market to Table, a Christian based store called the Silver Shekel, a coffee shop called Axum, several private offices, a convention room, and private projects of the owner (e.g. a rooftop food garden not accessible to the public). The owner has been a strong Christian leader in the community for many decades. You will find a lot of Christian faith-based groups and businesses associated here who generally keep to themselves. Though not the religious type, I really like this place. Lots of nice people. Lots of activity. This building and its owner has done a great service to the revitalization and continued growth of the Winter Garden downtown historic district. Actually, I'm hesitant to even use the word "historic" because there is now a lively, contemporary vibe to this whole area.”

“Oh my gosh this place is SO GOOD!!! My husband and I both got the Who Shot J.R. sandwiches and he also got the tomato bisque. The sandwiches were thick with delicious sliced chicken and cheese and on this super fresh, thick cut multi grain bread. When we took that first bite it was just heaven! Seriously, thank you for this sandwich!!! The bisque was also so rich and flavorful. Easily the best we'd ever had. The staff were really kind and courteous and MOMS is an overall nice, fun little spot to sit and enjoy the afternoon and lunch. I'm so happy we found this hidden gem!!! We definitely will be back often to try more!”

“What a delightful place! I went after work with several of my friends for their Happy Hour. The cocktail list was quite nice, and affordable. My girlfriends had various beers or glasses of wine and they seemed to enjoy themselves quite thoroughly. There was a lady signing at the Piano and it provided quite the nice atmosphere. “Great local handmade Pizza. Dough, sauce and other important ingredients were very good. Over all- the pizzas were very good. We had the Bianca and the Winter Garden Deluxe personal size pizzas. In addition my little one had the kiddie Baked Ziti which she always loves. Eats it all. I would have rated this as 5 star experience, as the server and food quality was spot on. However the food took way too long to reach the table for lunch. I will come back. It's local goodness.”

“Kept hearing about this delicious burger at this restaurant. Stopped in one night and ordered this burger. First, the ambience of the place was buzzing with people. Has that at home, but yeah, it’s Friday night feeling. Anyhow, the burger came and it was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Was cooked medium well to perfection as ordered. What topped it off is that one of the proprietors stopped by the table to make sure that we were happy. Can’t remember the price, which in this case is a mute point when the food is good. Stop anytime they are open, you will not be disappointed.”
