The coconut shrimp were Key West shrimp that are huge, fries were awesome along with the Reuben sandwich. Granddaughter got a cheese burger that was real hamburger patty with a grilled roll. Atmosphere is great also. Service was wonderful!

The gator bites are amazing! I thoroughly enjoy the gator bites here, more than other establishments. I've personally tried gator bites at a handful of other places to compare. I have found that nothing beats the way they make the gator bites here. The grouper is good too, but the reason I come back is for the gator bites. The selection of spices and sauce for the gator bites makes a good combination. They have live performances here too. Last night, the restaurant had someone cover several artists live. It was good! They hire live musicians to serenade you while you have a nice dinner on their dock, with the water crashing against the seawall beneath your feet. Don't want to drive your car there? You can dock your boat to the floating dock at Gators. Since this is at John's Pass, you want to make sure you fasten your ropes to the cleats properly. "Parking your boat" here is an option you should consider as a part of your experience!

Our girl's party had a ton of fun here! Our waitress was swamped on an unexpectedly busy day but she still managed to take great care of us! I am allergic to seafood and she made sure I didn't get anything that would harm me... That's rare to find these days! I appreciate it more than you know! Highly recommend this place!

Excellent food. Big fish sandwich- which is grilled salmon on Hawaiian bun. I also tried the Gator bites-ymmm. I liked the seasoning used. French fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on inside. My opinion...perfect fries. Amazing views of the Florida sunset. Prices for items were not outrageous. I would recommend you to stop if in the area.
