It's nice to find a place where the bartender can work a huge bar and still make you feel like you are the only person there. April recommended the root beer wings and I was blown away. “So I'm no pizza guru, although I eat pizza 2 times a week lol. But, this is the best pizza I've ever had. I will never again eat Dominos or Papa's or... Whatever. This place has my business until they're no longer selling pizza. I tried a calzone last time, oh my.. I don't understand how it's possible to make something taste that good. The outside of the calzone was just crispy enough, and the inside was perfectly soft. All the flavours were there in every bite. I usually get pizza, and the owner is very open to customisation.. I asked him to put ranch on my pizza with the sauce and bake it that way, he had no issues doing what would have been laughed at, had I asked the Hut to do the same. He also gives punch card like coupons and you get a free pizza when you collect enough. This place will seriously not let you down.”

It's not traditional Mexican food it is quite Americanized. I remember when Taco Bell first started out it was a very good Mexican food restaurant. The prices used to be extra great! “The location is great. The parking is kind of dark - some lights will really help. We ordered 3 medium; 2 vegetarian pizzas and sets of knobs with Marinara sauce. The cost was too much; so we cancelled the vegetarian pizzas. When we got there we saw the Manager's Special for $9.99. The manager after we explained what happened fix everything and gave us the extra pizza -- which was fixed on the spot-- for free. She explained to us that when you call the staff only tells you the national special NOT the local special. Please make sure when you call you always ask for the National and Local special. “Bowling alley is clean and pretty large. Moderate pricing. The arcade was a bit on the medium to small side but there's a good amount of games and they were quite fun!! I would recommend going on Mondays anytime or Weds after 6 to get an extra 10 dollar credit towards arcade games when you put in 20 bucks. You get a card that you can easily load up and use over and over again which is quite nice. Since we went on a Monday it was pretty much dead until after dinner time. So we had the place to ourselves. The food isn't great but what do you expect. The prizes for the arcade are decent as well. I really enjoyed my time. The only thing I would change is the pricing on the food and for the arcade to be a bigger component to the business. So that it's half bowling half games. Very casual and definitely will be back again.”

“Looking at Yelp while on Vacation we came across the Dixie Dog House and its reviews. Although we have passed directly in front of this location on every trip and have eaten next door but we never stopped. Today, after reading the review on Yelp and looking at the menu we decided to stop in and visit. EXCELLENT customer service from the moment we walked inside the door. We both sat down and ordered a Chicago Dog fully dressed along with an order of fries and two soft drinks. A filling meal at a total of only $17.85 for two people. The Chicago Dogs were authentic, served on a poppy seed bun, a Vienna beef dog, mustard, two sport peppers, green relish, tomato, onion, celery salt. The only place you can get anything better is going to be at Portillo's in Chicago. The fries were good, cooked well and nice and crispy without being soggy or greasy. They also have Italian Beef which I have to go back and try. If you have never tried true Chicago Style Italian Beef then you will not know what a delicacy this is. But, once you try it you will be hooked. Dixie Dog is a small place that you will pass right by before you realize it. When you come across the causeway into Treasure Island it is right before the Floridian Sandwich Shop and if you see ABC Liquor you have gone to far already. Don't worry, you can turn right and cut back over and give this place a try, You will not be sorry and may find a new "must stop" location when in town,”
