“We encountered Des' Tacos outside of St. Michael's Brewing Co. ... which is a great find in itself! Friendly Service from the moment that I walked up. I knew that it was going to be good, but I was not prepared for Great. We had the Street Barbacoa tacos and they were Amazing. Even beautifully presented despite that they had to travel in a takeout box. The ingredients where fresh and full of flavor. The best food truck find we have ever encountered!”

“After looking at local reviews, we decided to go here. Glad we did! I was hungry but did not want to feel stuffed, after a quick recommendation from the super friendly guy taking the orders, I went with the bagel with salmon shmear. This is not something I would have normally ordered, but I'm glad I did!!! I knew nothing about it but wanted to try something new. It was light, refreshing, bursting with flavor and freshness! Not fishy at all. The salmon reminded me of prosciutto. I didn't feel heavy afterward and the price was perfect. I would totally go back just for this! It was fantastic! If you need something new for brunch, you gotta try!”

“Went here mid-afternoon to see friends visiting from California. Had a 3-glass wine flight for $15. There were 10 different wines to choose from for the flight, from Bordeaux's to red's, whites, and a rose'. Service was great and also had spinach/artichoke dip with warm pita bread. They have a section in the back for small, laid back get togethers.”

This was new for me because I am used to going on base where they cook it in front of you and you tell them what you want on it as they go. So, I was a little disappointed to have everything on mine when I got it. The wings are better than most in the area. The buffalo is just hot sauce but the lemon pepper is okay and the wings are fried.”

It's very confusing since I do have the app and trying to earn and use the points offered. No one seems to know how it works and they aren't able to explain to the customer. “First time trying Buhs BBQ and it was fantastic! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They were so kind and engaging. You can tell they are good people. We got the chicken sampler. Which came with ribs, pulled pork, and brisket and toast. The sides we got were mac and cheese, potato salad, and baked beans. Everything was delicious. The portion sizes were huge, honestly bit off more then I could chew.”

“Seagull Sam's is a hidden gem! Great atmosphere - the feel of key west, with the gentle breeze, beautiful view over water and outdoor dining on several outdoor seating areas overlooking the bay. Food was incredible- I had a hard time choosing from all the menu options. Our waiter, Beau, was outstanding, great service, polite, great smile. Loved everything about our experience. We drove from Pensacola to Navarre to check it out. Will be back again.”

“My wife and I wanted to have a good meal with a view for our anniversary. Near as I can tell, that means seafood locally which I’m completely good with but my wife is not a fan so we found The Grillhouse of Navarre. My wife loves a good steak so this seemed like a solid choice. The reviews were mixed but leaned towards the positive so we figured it was worth a go. We arrived sometime after 5PM on a Saturday and we’re promptly seated outside. It wasn’t before long before a grey cat showed up and started low key meowing, not necessarily AT us but definitely to our benefit, LOL. We have cats at home so we know he/she wasn’t just singing along to the music. Anyhoo, he/she wasn’t bothering us so we just went with it. Our waitress arrived in a timely manner and took our drink and appetizer order. Both arrived in a timely fashion. The Fried Mushrooms had a satisfying crunch when bitten into but lacked flavor. For our entrees, I ordered the 10 ounce center-cut filet with Crispy Brussels with Bacon, Feta and Onion and Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese and my wife ordered the Signature Ribeye with Baked Potato. The cuts of beef were tender and flavorful if a bit salty. Both of our steaks were cooked as we requested but mine had a bit too much char for my liking. Both of my sides were lacking flavor as if the meals allocation of seasoning was expended entirely on the meat, LOL. If you’re looking for a super fancy meal experience, this ain’t your place. If you’re looking for a laidback local place with excellent food, this ain’t your place either. If you’re looking for a slightly quirky spot with a view and don’t mind overspending for a meal as long as you don’t leave hungry, this is you all day, everyday. I don’t feel like I was taken advantage of but I also don’t feel like the “squeeze was worth the juice” so to speak. Our waitress was nice and attentive enough and our meals arrived quickly and accurately so kudos to the staff! I can’t really recommend The Grillhouse of Navarre but neither can I skewer them. A couple of culinary adjustments and this could really be an awesome option.”

“Great service and great food! Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful! We got appetizers and they are enough to share but not so big you can’t eat your meal. I got grilled vegetables with my meal but they were more steamed than grilled. Food was delicious and plentiful. They have some gluten free options so we are thankful for that! I got a white peach sangria and it was really good. It’s my favorite drink and most restaurants serve it red only but they give you the option of white or red so that was really nice! Definitely recommend and we will for sure be back the next time we are in Navarre!!”

“Stopped here on a whim, wanting to try something new. The pork sandwich was great, this strips of pork with an awesome “gravy” on it. Not sure if it’s the same sauce that’s on the fries, but both of them were amazing. Ate* every bite and got every bit of sauce out of the container. The flan was GREAT, taste of orange or some other citrus. Texture was nice and there was plenty of syrup on top. Also got a fried shrimp pâté, had a great sauce inside with tiny yummy shrimp. About a 10 minute wait for all of that, and had a great view of the Sound and a TV on the truck to help pass the time.
