The food was delicious! But, we had to wait almost 10 minutes before someone came to get our drink order and almost 1 hour to get our food. The server told us that their would be a huge wait but didn't think it would take that long. This place needs more servers and help in the kitchen. The server told us that they were short-handed in the kitchen. They should know that evenings are going to be busy and people are on vacation! They should be prepared for the business because the food is good!
Lots of outdoor seating for the Bar which we visited and very friendly people and staff. Local hang out too. The clam chowder is great and they ship it to you if wanted. All the food we had was delicious. The only problem I had was they served my margarita in a plastic cup at the restaurant.
Everything was spot on. We got a little of everything to try. Clam chowder, scallops, shrimp, lobster tail, prime rib and the deviled crab. The service was friendly and attentive and we enjoyed it everything! So so much food. Two platters would be enough to share for 3 people at least!! I wish I took pictures because it even looked delicious.
Best clam chowder ever. The soda pop they have there is great. Raspberry lime has only a hint of like but you can't really taste it, it was great. The baskets are also very yummy. Coleslaw is not bad at all, and normally we don't eat coleslaw.
Nice beach "dive" that is not too pricey and offers a vegetarian bean burger options. Downside - the chips are not made in vegetable oil, so not suitable for vegetarians, even though they come with the plate - had to ask! A vegetarian potato salad was another option.
A typical kids menu would be nice - our little one had to pick from the appetizer menu, which then offered no sides for him included.
Service was friendly.
Would be nice if smoking was not allowed!
