I highly recommend the Harissa honey and grilled chicken as a excellent combination. The grains and lentils were also a delicious base. “I was very fortunate to have spent several months living in the Stoneybrook Community Sarasota when I first moved to Florida. The landscape, golf course, and country club are beautifully maintained. “My husband Todd and I have dined at Javier's 3 times and it's always been excellent food and service. Denise was our server our last visit, very nice and helpful. The owner Javier always comes over to say hello. I love that the menu offers vegetarian and organic food. My husband had a steak and described it as the most tender he'd ever had and the sauce was incredible! He was in heaven. I had a vegetarian enchilada (melts in your mouth awesome)! Javier makes the best Caesar salad I have ever tasted next to mine! He makes it fresh in front of you in the dining room. Save room for the homemade banana Foster! Again made in the dining room by Javier. You won't forget how wonderful it is! And you'll dream of plans to return.”

“Wonderful restaurant! This was our first time, and it was a special dinner for my birthday. I had their angel hair onion rings, which were unique, their bow tie pasta dish, which was delicious, and their unique mac 'n cheese , which has flavors unlike any other. I am still trying to decide if I liked that. My husband had the most beautiful steak I have ever seen, with flavorful charming on both sides, and a perfectly done medium. The were thoughtful enough to end the dinner with their small dense chocolate cake with a candle. Like everything else, that cake was amazing. Everything was also very expensive, but unlike so many fine dining places, the servings are enormous, not the teeny things you usually get and do not appreciate. Our terrific waiter told us that the sides are big enough for two, and they are. We didn't listen and ordered way too much, but t hgt they were kind enough to box up the leftovers. We will know how to order next time, and we will be back. I have to try that steak!”

“We were told that this is the PREMIERE wine event on the west coast of Florida. It didn’t disappoint with the exception that we couldn’t get tickets to Ringling as it was already sold out. We attended the “Forks & Corks” event at Cafe Cabianno’s. with friends that came into town for the weekend. This was an amazing event hosted by both the restaurant/winery respective owners who highlighted each course matched by delicious distinctive wines. We will definitely book tickets early next year.”

“So delicious!! The manager is incredibly kind and the sushi chef is a genius. Only place I will sit at the sushi bar an allow the chef to make whatever he wants for me. I’m consistently impressed with the chefs innovative dishes and welcome trying new things. I would recommend trying it, and calling ahead for big parties is also likely a good idea as it’s not the biggest space. But this makes for a personable and enjoyable experience!”

“We had our first breakfast today at this awesome restaurant. The avocado toast was delicious with a nice garlic and lemon flavor. The goat cheese frittata was savory and seasoned perfectly. The bread is amazing and everything was homemade. The chef and his wife are French and both are warm, friendly and welcoming. The Gulf Gate area is funky with lots of dining options but the Lovely Square is our favorite spot. We will return again for more of this amazing food.”

The owners man the kitchen and the tables, So right away you get TLC The food was home cooked style, fresh, great ingredients. Real French menu items, including a good selections of mussels and sauces. I had cassoulet, sausage and duck served with beans. Crepe Suzette for dessert.
