“This little gem of a restaurant recently opened and I made immediate plans to visit it having enjoyed many Vietnamese restaurants back in Chicago. They opened at a great location and have a clean, simply designed space that echoes their simple and moderately priced menu. I am a huge fan of rice noodles and this is one of their specialties. The entire menu lists maybe 15 entrees and nothing is priced over $13. The rice noodle dishes come in a huge bowl that seemed bottomless as I tried to finish it. I had the chicken and it was grilled perfectly. The noodles were delicious. My wife had the shrimp vermicelli and loved it. I might add that she also had a great deal if difficulty in finishing her bowl. The staff is friendly and their is plenty of parking. I highly recommend it.”

“For starters ask for Leah, she’s the manager and waitstaff. I told her recently that she’s the best server I’ve ever encountered. And I’m old! My wife especially likes this place because of all the vegan and health oriented offerings. I’m a carnivore and their bacon is homemade and superb. The waffles covered in fruit are excellent along with many many other items. I’ve never had a bad meal there, I’ve always had great service and smiles from the staff. “This place is overpriced for what it is. The Chicken Parm Sandwich was flavorful, but the chicken was thin and very dry. For $12 I expect better. The Pulled Pork was also dry, but not as flavorful - again, not worth $12. The tiny PB&J sandwich presents the best value at $3. They need to replace their take-out cartons, because ordering more than one item to go is awkward and doesn't work well. A more friendly counter person wouldn't hurt either. I'll be interested to see how long this place lasts in its current form.”

I asked why my total wasnt $18.36?? Counter lady said it was because tax. Hmm. I said look again. Then they saidd. Ohhh. That signs old. Well take it down. Sat and ate while 15 more patrons got ripped off 10 cents plus tax /meal.”
