“It is a popular nightlife spot in old town St Augustine. It is in a great location. I don't have anything bad to say about it, they have a small dance floor inside which gets overly crowded and blocks access to the restrooms. They also have a nice outside seating area. Drink service can be slow due to the crowd at night, but overall it is a decent place to go to if in downtown St Augustine.”

Nice chill environment for anybody to walk in and grab a drink. Outside area has some games and seating which is always a plus! “Nice little spot to stop off at while walking around St. Augustine. They had live music when we went in for lunch. The fish was really good and the tacos were killer. The kids meal was larger than I expected and my 7 year old loved it. The staff is nice and pretty quick. I'd definitely recommend stopping in while your nearby and hungry for a quick bite.”

“I love the idea of this place. The self service bar where you get to try different beers and go up whenever you feel like having more is awesome. The only negative I guess would be that it’s pretty pricey IF you do decide to fill your glass, even with the cheaper beers running at .61 an ounce it ends up costing you almost $9 for the glass, but just sampling doesn’t seem too bad. Still a cool experience. My husband and I really liked it and the staff was really cool. Clean place, good atmosphere. Still giving 4 stars because it is a nice bar.”

After an exhausting day checking out all the sites we could get to in one day and hitting the beach, this place was the perfect end. The sweet lady who took care of us was the kindest! “Went to the Blackfly for the first time with a couple of friends, and had a great dining experience at the restaurant. The restaurant has a sit down bar area on one side and a sit down area that is separated in the middle by the walking entrance. The atmosphere is casual dining and the deco within the restaurant is great. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended the scallops as an appetizer, which were amazing. The meal comes with fresh bread while you wait for your food. We had the Chef menu catch of the day which was Yellow Snapper stuffed with crab meat, everyone else ordered the steak and lobster meals. As you can see from the stars the meals came out fresh and tasting amazing no complains. The lobster was seasoned well that no butter was needed because it came with a sauce that you could use. We had one issue with one of the steaks not cooked too liking and they quickly resolved the situation by bringing it back and cooking another steak on the grill and even offering our friend a free desert. Most places would have brought the steak back and recooked it not them. The level of attention and customer service was on point and impeccable that on top of the food selection you will be wanting to come back for more. If you are looking for a Surf and turf type of place then give this place a shot and you will not regret coming here.
