“My wife and I went in there starving.... mistake. The hashbrown bowls used to be smaller so we both ordered two. They not small anymore. They're a double order instead of a single one. I got sausage, she got bacon. We got a Waffle, and bacon for our son, and walked out $ 62 lighter in the wallet with 20 % tip. It was a ton of food. I had breakfast for Monday morning. Service was incredibly fast. Definitely recommend this location.”

“Definitely a rad dad! Very good pizza, flavor was super good and crust was seasoned nicely with herbs inside! The meatball sub was 10/10 and he even put the sauce on the side so it didn’t get soggy on my drive home 🙌🏼 Breadsticks were average but everything else was beyond my expectations, being that we just moved to the area… I’d say we found our go-to pizza spot from now on ! He’s even adding on new menu items in the future to expand the menu, looking forward to it👍🏼”

“This place was a blast in the past...80's themed. I loved it! We had the Cuban sandwich and could only eat half. Also the pulled pork sandwich which was amazing! The potato salad was made to perfection using the little red potatoes. Yum. The inside was clean and the staff was friendly. I would recommend giving this place a try”

“Beautiful spot to sit and have a quick bite. Everything on the menu looks so good. We tried the Monte Cristo, smoked pulled chicken sandwich, hot dog for the little one (which they graciously accommodated cutting in length wise for her to eat), smoked brownie and ice cream. The homemade bread is so good, soft and a perfect bed for the smoked meats. The chicken was smoky and moist. The brownie was thick, chocolately with a hint of char and smoke. The ice cream was full of the flavors we ordered. They even have a little library for kids to enjoy a book while they visit. The owners are incrediblely nice and you can feel how much love they put into their business.”

“At the end of my long day I was treated with kindness & courtesy & had a delightful meal. The special of the day was Chicken Florentine & it's all home-made & delicious-o! I topped off everything with an Italian Cream Cake that would make Italians like Emarald Lagasse smile & ask for more! It was moist, creamy & had just enough pecans! I thought the place looked familiar even though it was my 1st time there. 1 wall reminded me of something I'd seen on the TV show Restaurant Impossible... Well I was in the right place, just a few years later! Everything looks beautiful. The service is great & the food is fantastic. I'm going to be a loyal customer!”

“This place was SUCH a FABULOUS find! When I say it is a WONDERFUL burger, I might be selling it short. There was not one thing on my plate that was anything less than delicious. “Stopped by for dinner on a Friday night. Was not busy at all, 1 other table when we arrived 1 other by the time we left. Friendly and attentive staff. Food came out relatively quick and tasted good. “Good taco salad, but kinda small. Let me rephrase that as “healthy portion size”. :-). Yes that’s a normal sized fork. Meat tastes like good quality and has great flavor (and even better with mild sauce added), lettuce and tomato are very fresh and good, cheese? Not enough to assess its quality, but I think it’s good too :-). The bowl is edible too and tastes like toasted soda crackers, very tasty. Not many seats so consider visiting other than lunch hour or dinner hour”

It's super family friendly, the staff go above and beyond to give great service and make a personal connection, and the TVs are everywhere. “The food is alright, didn't really hit the mark. In my photos you can see that there is essentially no difference between the chicken fried rice and hibachi chicken besides adding some vegetables. Having smaller veggies added to the rice and more variety would improve the taste. This might just be to save time and cost. Other menu items I've had just don't taste authentic. It is the only Japanese style restaurant in Defuniak, so it's the best we have for now. Service is good and they are always timely in my experience, just wish the dishes were tastier. I have yet to try some of the raw sushi, but the tempura shrimp roll was pretty good. I'll be returning but I would like to see improvements.”

“I had the best food here today. The mango margarita was probably the best I've ever had! They have wonderful prices and they don't try and charge you for all the little extras like a lot of places do. We were super impressed and looking forward to returning. “Different !!! I walked in and thought I was in a grocery store, then saw some tables up front (see photo). Authentic? Maybe! I’m used to TexMex, so I didn’t really like it. The waitress was very sweet but barely understood English. The chicken enchiladas were literally shredded chicken rolled in a flour tortillas. Any extra ingredients were a light garnish on top. A layer of tomato paste (almost made it taste Italian), then very light garnish of onions, etc. The rice was average, and I don’t like beans so no eval there (see photo). The 7UP bottle was not English label, kinda cool (see photo). Beef tacos to go, similar issues. Just beef, with a little bit of green stuff I thought was Cilantro but it didn’t have any real flavor. (Cilantro would have really helped). Beef and a few green leafy parsley?, but no lettuce no tomatoes, no cheese in the tacos. A little bit of cheese on the beans, looked like Parmesan but wasn’t, not much flavor. Side salsas in squeeze bottles had some spice. As I said, DIFFERENT ! Interesting but I personally wouldn’t go back.”

“With limited dining options in the area, this is a good stop for Mexican food. Food was decent. Music is loud; the servers chatter and laughter is louder. “Wow, it’s been a while since I have been to a Waffle House and I am glad I went to this one. The staff was amazing ! So kind and hospitable. When you think southern hospitality Kathy is exemplifies it. Our food was so delicious. The waffles were tasty the patty melts were amazing. Just an amazing experience at this Waffle House. To give some perspective I tried to go eat here for breakfast and lunch and it was so packed I couldn’t even find a place to park. I see why this place is awesome !!”

“Incredibly friendly service and absolutely DELICIOUS! I had the Turkey Bacon Swiss and I just can’t say enough about how good it was. Quality meats, generously served on a delicious, fresh, buttery brioche bun, and made with great care. I also ordered a fresh-made strawberry/banana smoothie, made with real fruit, almond milk and LOCAL honey! Yum! I highly recommend it! Comfortable seating, spacious and well-lit. Defuniak Springs is lucky to have such a convenient place to get a great sandwich! I’d confidently say that the name checks! Will return!”
