“Our family visits 30A nearly every summer. We have some favorite brunch spots (Chanticleer, Crackings & Perfect Pig) but also like to try new spots each year. Today is our first time at Scratch Biscuit Kitchen. Tropical Storm Fred is expected to make his appearance today, and many restaurants have shut down, so I’ll start by saying we truly appreciate this establishment being opened today! In spite of being short staffed, as most other places are due to Covid, the employees were all friendly. They were really busy, so we had to clean off a table with spray & a rag that was set out on the trash cans since no one seemed to be working the dining room. The food was average and coffee was extremely weak. We are a family of 6, so a wide variety of options were ordered. The hash brown casserole was yummy enough to go back for seconds. I’m including a photo of the Deep South biscuit sandwich. I was disappointed in the quantity of fillings. It was lacking and could’ve benefitted from larger fried green tomatoes, more than 1/2 a slice of bacon, or perhaps a fried egg.”

“Very very good food. The past few restaurants we have gone to have been touristy places. This is one is different. The building it self is gorgeous and modern. The view of the beach is gorgeous. The menu is quite limited but the food they do have is very well made. The service was great and fast. No complaints at all. HIGHLY recommend!!!”

“A friend of mine was visiting from out of town and I met him at his vacation rental in Watercolor. You took me to the beach club and won an incredible experience. Numerous pools and an incredible view of the Emerald Coast. I had some excellent Long Island iced teas and a tasty chicken quesadilla and enjoyed the water therapy!!! Excellent service at the top level bar.”

“Sad we went to this place on our way home from our vacation. If we knew it was that good we would have been there every morning! Love the atmosphere here and the food was excellent. A few of my friends ordered the Mimosa’s, so next time I come back I will definitely be getting a couple different flavors. Of course I couldn't go without having coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find out that the cute mugs the coffee was served in you could actually purchase for $25. This one was meant for me. As you can see from the picture it even matched my nail color! 💖 They sell out quickly so you better get there early so you can take home a coffee cup souvenir. If you go on Sunday morning they have live music outside too. Definitely a highlight to our trip! Can't wait to visit again!”

“Fantastic! Great food and truly excellent service from the wait staff. I would recommend the Grayton seafood company to anyone visiting the area. They are still limited to outdoor dining only (as of Oct '21) so I would recommend making a reservation as they quickly filled up. I am not a big seafood eater but out waiter recommended the triple tail fish (the special of the day) and I was not disappointed. The bread pudding desert was easily top three of any I have had. Delicious!”

“Stopped in for a couple flights and ended up also getting the pretzels. Have had their beer in cans before so we got two flights and enjoyed most of them. The pretzels though are worth it! “This is a GREAT bakery. I can’t share a review on their cafe entrees however they sounded great. If anything like their bakery then it won’t disappoint. Had a cheese danish and morning bun and the flavors were AWESOME. You can tell it is fresh and higher quality ingredients. We had gone to the one in Destin just browsing but we’re too late in the day as they were mainly sold out. This location is the commissary for the one in Destin. If you are here, definitely stop in to eat here.”

“This is not your run of the mill pizza place. Upon entering you can pick up on that right away, it has a very cozy atmosphere inspired by the owner’s past, Thailand and the Green Bay Packers, it was awesome. We ordered three pizzas, the crispy thin crust was delicious, Jeff, the owner, clearly knew how to cook a mean pizza. Speaking of, we found him to be quite a character, but loved him and enjoyed chatting while there. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and the food, the whole thing made for a good story. We will definitely be returning to the Pickle Factory!”

“The Bay is a wonderful restaurant. It checks all the boxes for a lovely date night or family dinner with the kiddos. Great drinks, fresh delicious food, and prompt service. “few direction signs …ambiguous …it’s actually 2 separate & different restaurants with one entrance ….downstairs is a line up inside to order your food which has basically a seafood menu with inside and lots of outdoor seating. Upstairs is a mainly pizza menu with indoor & outdoor seating at the back. Food & service were good. Good female bartender downstairs. Great beach area with bay views! “The atmosphere at night was so cool. However the brisket tacos were a let down; a lot of conflicting flavor with added heat something I could have done without. Not necessary for the soft flavorful meat in my opinion. But hey, I only just found this place and will definitely be back. With a full, diverse menu and original mural art and all around funky decor how could I not. Large kids menu, ample seating indoors and out . Located on a convenient corner that can be entered from either roadway easily. Staff were super courteous which is a plus.”

“We had a late lunch here and I had the best fish tacos I have ever had! I chose sautéed grouper as the fish and it was out of this world!! Takes a lot to impress, me as I have lived in Hawaii, So Cal and have travelled throughout the Pacific over the years, as well as the East and West Coasts of Mexico and never had eaten anything close. The service was awesome as well! Definitely going back again before we head home.”

“Excellent Thai food, great price, and perfect portions. We got the Thai beef noodle soup, grilled chicken wings and papaya salad, and rice soup with tofu, sticky rice and mango dessert. Everywhere we went it is packed, so it was nice to get some takeout. Authentic! If you have kids like mine who can't eat spicy food, get your spices on the side! My kids loved it. Food is made to order and fresh. Call ahead because they are take out only. We will be back again to eat.”
