“Amazing experience, Ocean Prime has an amazing variety of dishes and the outdoor area is very pleasant (probably not during summertime). Prices are high like other steakhouses nearby. I upped my rating a point to 5-stars in Feb 2019 following a wonderful outdoor afternoon meal. It was warm enough to eat outside and service was impeccable. I received a follow-up phone call from the restaurant the next day which was a classy touch. Ocean Prime is best in first class.”

The food was okay, but that’s a big disappointment when the chef is a 2 time James Beard Award winner. They have a limited menu so they should be able to excel at it. They don’t. Biscuits are dry. Fried chicken is dry. Their supposed fabulous French fries are ordinary. Not sure I’d go back.”

Otherwise my drink was great and the bartender knew every kind of drink imaginable she was very friendly. We got nachos and fish bites and both were very good. It was a small bar, but the atmosphere was very inviting and welcoming. If you’re staying in Downtown Tampa, you should definitely check this place out. Extra points because he recently spent some time in Dallas. 10/10.”
