Back River Brewery

Great music, CC Witt, and amazing tastes from the grill. Both dishes were outstanding. For a local pub, I strongly recommend you stop in and try. If I were local, I would be here often.

Sip on a flight while overlooking the beautiful ocean in this charming brewery. Great selection of beers. I came before the kitchen opened and will look forward to trying their food menu next go around.

Looks are deceiving. This place comes off as an ordinary 2nd floor island bar. But …
Food was incredible! Smoked prime rib melt sandwich was life changing. Pulled pork sliders were delicious. Try the cinnamon roll desert. The chef is a wizard.

If we were staying another night we’d come back a third time.
Casey is an absolute culinary genius. The complex flavor profiles are barre non. Great beer choices, too with a full bar to boot. Jason is delightful and makes you feel right at home.

This was by far the best food experience we had on Tybee Island. The staff was awesome. They were very accommodating to our gluten free and allergy needs. We had the prime rib melt and pulled pork both as lettuce wraps and they were amazing! Chipotle coleslaw was super tasty and the house pickles and red onions were great!

Since we are gluten free we were unable to taste any of the craft beer, but they sounded like some amazing flavors.

This place is a must try!
