Salt Island Fish & Beer

Amazing food, friendly service, local feel. We've been part-time "locals" (visiting several weeks a year) for 20+ years now. When we saw the prior restaurant was closed, we were saddened. However last week we visited for the first time and were NOT disappointed. Eclectic menu but something for everyone!!! If you're a local, you'll fit right in. If you're a tourist, you'll be just as welcome and happy you came! We will surely be "regulars" on our return visits!

High quality food. Decent service. They use flounder instead of cheap cod for their fish and chips. Burger was really good.

Awesome music, I had a burger cause... I don’t know I like burgers. And it was awesome friendly service. Unique jars instead of cups. And once again the music is awesome, love the beastie boys

Initial reaction was the food is overprice! We waited a good amount of time after being seated for our waitress to take our drink order. The food was OK nothing special. I recommend eating at Sundae Cafe a block away if you can.

First time back to Tybee in a few years and we were bummed a few of our favorite spots had closed. Decided to try Salt Island and it was great. Service was excellent, food was fresh and tasty (whole flounder and crab poutine). Will definitely be back. Honestly, you could eat here every day and not get tired of the food.
