“The most delightful hidden gem in the area. My friends and I had no idea it existed but stumbled upon it this morning and had an incredible meal. I think their espresso was the best I’ve had in Savannah. Not a place to get an ordinary bagel and cream cheese, but if you’re in the mood for a slow cooked egg scramble with bacon, chives and a quick-pickled shallot- this is the place for you! “Stopped here after breakfast because we were looking for a nice latte. The space is quite lovely inside, with ample seating. The morning we stopped in, a gentleman was playing some piano music in the background. Some people were chatting and others were on computers working. Service was friendly and quick. The Paris Fog was delightful; the flavors of the tea were balanced perfectly. Also got an oat milk latte with lavender. Again, the flavors were just right, a good flavor without overpowering the latte. Definitely planning on coming by again.”

“Came for the honey lavender mocha it was good. Loved the Mexican mocha!! Cinnamon honey dark chocolate! The build your burrito was fabulous! The grilled vegetables so yummy! Even my picky eating child tried it and ate half my burrito! The ascetic is upscale and minimal feels classy with very pleasant staff. I came in tired and sweaty from the heat and walking, everyone on staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. I was able to cool off and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling like the mess I was!”

“Picked up bagels two days in a row because of how delicious they were! One of the best bagels I’ve ever had! Highly recommend the pimento pig bagel. The burnt honey cream cheese is also great. Ordered ahead online and showed up 15 minutes too early, but they still were able to have the order ready 5 minutes earlier than my scheduled pick up time.”

“This is not normally a place I’d pick for myself, but I’m so glad we went! My friend had the rose lavender pancakes and I’d have to say they were my favorite. I had the yogurt parfait, and I did have to add sugar to the yogurt, but after that it was delicious. Everyone left feeling good about their choice, and not super heavy like after you eat fast food.”

“I just found this place a few weeks ago and I think it is fantastic! They have a great variety and it's what you would expect of a true deli and bagel shop. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They are a little on the pricy side, but the quality is worth it. It's the only place around this neighborhood that I have found Nova or Lox and bagels done the proper way with cream cheese, capers, red onion and tomato piled high on two bagel halves.”

“I arrived at the shop about 20 minutes before they closed and was greeted kindly by one of the workers. This was my first time trying Duck Donuts so she took the time to explain everything to me. I ended up ordering a glaze and a maple bacon. All donuts are cooked to order which was nice. Out of the the two that I chose, the Glaze was absolutely delicious. So warm with a slight crisp on the outside, super soft inside and the perfect amount of glaze. The Maple Bacon was not bad, but definitely not my favorite. I probably won't ever get that one again. In hindsight, I wish I would have chosen Blueberry or French Toast for my second. Overall, I give this establishment 4 stars. The donuts and service were good and the place was very clean and well decorated.”

“My husband and I traveled here from South Dakota and thought we would give The Diner a shot because it was close to the hotel. So glad we did! Even at 1 in the morning this was the friendliest place we've been to since leaving home. Jenna our waitress was amazing! Super chatty and helpful to us, she even put us on her phone with a friend to ask him about some places to visit and eat at while we are here! The seating area and kitchen was clean, tables and counters were cleared and wiped as soon as people finished, condiments readily available in front of us. Classic diner food, everything was hot and fresh. One omelet was slightly underdone and Jenna handled it for us immediately, drinks were never empty, and everyone seemed happy! I would most definitely come back if we swing through here again, it was worth stopping in! Thank you so much Jenna, we were very impressed and touched by your kindness and generosity as it really meant a lot to us so far away from home. Keep up the awesome work, y'all were super great!”

“First of all, it's in Savannah, so that is a plus and it's in a beautiful location. The owner and the employees are so friendly! When you walk in you notice how quaintly it's decorated. The restaurant is bright and very cozy. You also notice the delicious scent of the foods that are cooked fresh. Fresh bread! Fresh pastries! I was pleasantly surprised by all of it and they serve the best eggs I've ever tasted. I made sure to take extra goodies on the road with me. Much to my delight, I also found out about a Florida connection. You have to go to Cafe M!”
