“Plenty of great arcade games from our childhood were here and also air hockey and a pool table. Decent selection of pinball machines.The staff were extremely friendly and gave great beer recommendations. I also see that they serve coffee which looked good but I didn't try any. “It was so freezing cold we figured the manager doesn't want anyone staying too long. Believe me, we would have left a lot sooner if they weren't so slow preparing the food! Our waitress was wonderful. She was happy, friendly, helpful and attentive! She kept our drinks refilled and made us feel like we were her only guests! Couldn't ask for a better waitress! But we won't eat there again unless it's outside! Today, the enclosed patio was full. Bummer! The food was very good - when it finally came out. We waited at least 20 maybe 30 minutes after we ordered for our food to come from the kitchen! The frigid temps put a real damper on the good food. Eat outside or bring your parka!”

“Great service and great food! Husband got a half order fried chicken dinner which came with real mashed potatoes and fresh yellow squash and zucchini. Excellent and a huge meal. Fried chicken was crisp and juicy! I got the veggie wrap w/grilled chicken. Also very good! I got onion rings which were crisp but the batter was not the best I've had, but still good. We had our dog with us and they brought us water for him and gave him lots of attention. He loved it, too! Wish we lived closer!”

“We have visited Tybee three other times in the past 5 years and somehow missed this treasure! We just happened upon it in a Google search this year and we are so glad we did! Fried green tomatoes for appetizer, Seared Shrimp and Grits for me (EIGHT large shrimp!) and Flounder (the entire fish minus the head!) for my husband. So delicious and perfectly cooked and portioned. Great friendly service! (Thanks Laurie, for the history of the restaurant AND the flounder tutorial!) We did not have a reservation but we will next time...we got lucky this time! Don't miss this island gem on your Tybee visit.”

“Leopold's Ice Cream is located in Savannah, GA. It's a staple of the city and could be considered a national landmark in its own right. It's been almost for about a century now. The interior has a very classic look. Now you may not be able to see the interior right away as there tends to be a long line out the door especially if it's a hot sunny day during the summer. The menu has a lot of different and interesting flavors. You have your classics of course like a banana split or a root beer float. They offer you a cup or a cone. You can also get toppings as well to add to the flavor. The ice cream is sweet and savory. There are so many flavors to choose from. I wish I could have tried them all. I ended up getting the Honey Almond and Cream which was inspired by SCAD. Anyways, this is an ice cream parlor, so I'm keeping it short and sweet. If you're in Savannah visiting and just passing through, you definitely need to check out Leopold's Ice Cream.”

“We went to McDonald’s on highway 80 in Pooler today and had the greatest experience! Our order was taken at the drive through by the greatest person ever! “First of all, it's in Savannah, so that is a plus and it's in a beautiful location. The owner and the employees are so friendly! When you walk in you notice how quaintly it's decorated. The restaurant is bright and very cozy. You also notice the delicious scent of the foods that are cooked fresh. Fresh bread! Fresh pastries! I was pleasantly surprised by all of it and they serve the best eggs I've ever tasted. I made sure to take extra goodies on the road with me. Much to my delight, I also found out about a Florida connection. You have to go to Cafe M!”

“Took us a little while to find while walking along the canal, google maps pinned location wasn't exactly right. It's not canal facing, you have to walk up some stairs and go over a walkway. Do what we did and find a local to ask, it's worth it! Great place to eat and feel the energy of Savannah! We had pretty long to wait, not surprising considering it was Saturday late morning. They don't have a large place or many seats but what they lacked in size they made up for in personality and flavor! Biscuits are HUGE and classic southern. We all enjoyed our food immensely, coffee was delicious, next time I'd love to have the giant Mason jar of iced coffee I saw at the next table. Our waitress was very attentive and quick bringing whatever we needed despite having a maze to get through (again, small space) and several tables. We will be back next time we come to Savannah!”

“Me and my youth group we're traveling from Florida to NC and we made a stop here for food and to swap drivers for the bus. These employees fed all 45+ of us and it was faster than some of the McDonald's near my house where I'd sometimes have to wait 8 minutes for a burger and fries. Props to them for being fast and still accurate with the orders.”
