She was very conversational, and recommended the daily special of roasted rabbit risotto, which was placed in front of me less than 10 minutes after ordering and was amazing! “POSITIVES First star is for the quality of food, which was very good, but not wow. Drinks were good too. Second star is for the nice and friendly behavior. Third star is for the environment. NEGATIVES However, the food portion was small. I went there with my wife and asked the server about the beef chowmien (suggested for 2 people). She confirmed that it was enough for two. When food arrived, it was apparent that it would not be enough for two. If you are hungry (which is basically why we go to the restaurant), you won't be sharing those items that are meant for sharing. Something to remember for this restaurant. In addition, it was pricier. You can get similar or better tasting food elsewhere, with cheaper price, and with much larger portion. We are not going back. Athens is full of amazing restaurants where I can go again and again, and get my money's worth.”

“Excellent southern food with modern twist. Tuesday is "meat, pick 3" night where instead of their typical menu, for ~$14, you pick one meat entree with 3 veggie sides, which is commonly done by southern restaurants. I was happy to find that this can easily be made vegetarian by ordering 4 sides instead of a meat. Vegan and gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu. You must try their mac and cheese and peach chess pie!”

“Excellent! Loved the trout market special. One of the best fish dishes I have ever had. The gruyere cheese puffs were also great as an appetizer. The desert I had, the bread pudding, was superb. I do wish they had a few more by the glass wine options, but the Rose I had was fantastic.”
