“I ordered the fajitas and received two tortillas. The steak portion was good but the sides could have been a little better. It seemed like everything was right out of a can or bag. I hope this was just me because the last time I ate here it was delicious! It was just average this time. Like I said seemed like it was out of a can, box or bag this time. “We love going here. They have great food as well as friendly employees. If you have little ones, they will bring either coloring sheets with crayons or give them chalk to draw on the table cloth. Our 4 year old loves that, and it keeps her occupied while waiting on our food. It is always very clean and decorated nicely.”

“My wife and I visited here for dinner tonight and it was amazing! We ordered the seafood trio as an appetizer and that was cooked beautifully. The lobster bisque was very tasteful and we left none behind! I ordered the Cajun Ribeye medium rare but came out medium but was still tender and juicy! My wife ordered the lime butter trout and she loved it. The corn nuggets (side) is a definite must order!”

“We have had lunch at Van Zandt’s multiple times at different times of the year. They have a fantastic cheeseburger and fantastic fries! We kayaked with them as well. We had 2 kayaks and rented 2. Denver was super helpful even with loading and unloading our kayaks. The distance on he river is about 4.4 miles (from put in above Van Zandt’s to Sandy Bottom Recreation Center). Such a nice part of the river! I recommend breakfast or lunch just before kayaking or lunch. On vacation, I enjoy getting to know people who actually live in he area. Most of all they are just kind people who really seem to care about giving good products and services to their customers. I think you will enjoy your visit to Van Zandt’s.”
