“As an avid sweet tooth, I was thrilled to find a place dedicated to desserts! My husband and I stopped by for an after-dinner treat for our 10th wedding anniversary and ordered one slice of the Mona Lisa Mocha Cake. It was deliciously rich and moist and although I'm not usually the biggest fan of cream cheese frosting, it was divine. To go with the cake, I ordered a glass of ice cold milk and found it paired perfectly and made me smile. There was only one person working but she expertly handled all the tables and made us feel very welcome. There is outdoor seating as well as tables and booths inside with classy and elegant decor. Parking was easy to find across the street on a Thursday summer night. If we didn't live 6+ hours away, I'd definitely be a regular!”

“Food was quick, delicious and super tasty! Highly recommended! Got to-go food! I believe I got the Birria Tacos with Al Pastor. Rice and Beans. And the Grilled Chicken topped with Chorizo on a bed of onions and mushrooms. Topped with cheese. I cut that all up and made my own nachos: Bar area was gorgeous, tons of potential when it gets busy. Everything was great, included my server.”

“We ate there a few weeks ago after a recommendation. The food was fantastic! The French toast was incredible (had to steal a bite from my kids). The Biscuits and gravy were NOT overly salted, which is a rarity. It was a great find and can't wait to go back the next time we're in town.”

“Great addition to Blue Ridge. The owners are the BEST and will go to the ends of the Earth to accommodate you. I built my own sandwich today and it was delicious. Excuse the photo, I got it to-go— so my presentation is not as pretty as if I had dinned in. Kid friendly, I brought my niece and she enjoyed a ham/turkey/cheese sandwich. They owner, Brannon, offered her a cookie even after we had paid. Thanks, Brannon & team! We will be back.”

“Our favorite place to see a movie. The kids love it, and we do just as much. The snacks are yummy, the people are friendly, the quality of the movies are always very good, and you just can’t beat the experience of a good old drive-in. NOTE: They are CASH ONLY!”

“The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially our bartender Haley! The space is open, clean, and family friendly. The biggest issue we have is with the food and the prices of the food. We ordered the meatballs with garlic bread and chicken tacos. The meatballs were large but flavorless aside from the marina sauce it came with. It also wasn't tender at all, which makes me believe that they weren't made in house. It was less than one pound of beef and two small pieces of bread for $15. The chicken tacos were a bigger disappointment though. We were served two large chicken tacos with only lettuce and tomatoes, no cheese at all. The tacos weren't even warm and the chicken tasted like it came from a can. That is ridiculous seeing as they have chicken breast on their menu, so they could have utilized what they have in house and shredded it rather than using flavorless, cold canned chicken (at least add taco seasoning at bare minimum). Also, what struck us as odd is the split plate charge. If you share an entree or sandwich with someone else, they will slap a $4 charge on you. When we got our check, it also seemed like they charged us $2 for rocks because we got our scotch on the rocks. I've never been to a bar that charges us for ice, and seeing that charge on top of the split plate charge on the menu makes me believe that the owners are cheap. This bar seems very promising, and I understand I came in on their grand opening, but there needs to be changes to the food menu if they want to continue charging what they do. The quality of your dishes could be much better if you invest more in your food, but overall this cantina would be a great spot to drop in while exploring Blue Ridge! It's a very clean place to eat and drink, and the staff are great!!”

“If you haven't tried ROE yet what are you doing?! This was a dining experience I will never forget. That's saying something considering we were visiting from Louisiana. I used to hate oysters and you would never catch me eating them before visiting this restaurant. Everything was fresh, delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was beautiful and the owners made it a point to make sure each customer was comfortable. You can tell that the staff here truly cares and that's hard to find these days. I had a lot of wonderful conversations and delicious bites. I recommend ordering the lobster, swordfish and chargrilled oysters.”

“Met for dinner and h Ad appetizers of crab balls with corn salsa and artichokes ( I think directions at the table to get x plain the method; I’d hate to see it denied from the menu). For dinner I had the pork chop and it was huge, moist and attended to by a great vegetable marinade. My wife has the chicken baillard which was more than ‘chicken’ which is so often a menu item! It too was delicious and fully satisfactory. Jared on his first night did very well was courteous and checked back with us often. We met Sophia, indicated our joy over the menu with kudos to the chef, it turns her husband.”

“Our son's wedding was held at our home and catered by Jeff Servin and overall was a huge success. He and his staff (with wife Stephanie) were wonderful with simply delicious food (three courses) and amazing service thought the day. Our outdoor tent was lighted and tables were set with elegant table placements. Chairs were set up and moved between two locations and beverages were available on demand. We had appetizers and champagne toasts and even a fleet of chauffeured vans to move people from hotel to our home. I cannot begin to describe the attention to detail and the abundant energy that Jeff had for hours on end before, during and after the event. He even filled in as emergency bartender at the last minute. The only issue that we had was with the arrival and set up of a large tent but even though it wasn't his fault, Jeff quickly resolved the problem and it worked out fine. Chef Jeff Servin & Company doesn't come cheap but I would not hesitate to recommend all of them if you want first class food and service for your wedding or other event. Ours was truly a marvelous experience. Bravo Chef Jeff!”

“The food was very good. Service at the drive-thru was incredibly slow, but I think this location had just recently opened, and the staff was new and still learning. It took about 20 minutes to get our food; there were about 8 cars ahead of us. They were very polite and the quality of the food was excellent. The menu screens at the drive-thru toggled between menus, which made ordering slower for me. This was our first visit to a Popeye’s, so I was not familiar with their menu items.”

“If I understood correctly, this place had only been open for a week at the time of our visit. If so, I'm actually kind of impressed things went as smoothly as they did. Our service was slightly hit-or-miss, but our server could not have been more earnest or eager to please, even if things didn't always go the way he had hoped. My whiskey & water burger came with sautéed onions and mint/bourbon glaze, and one or both of those was sweeter than I prefer and it didn't appeal to me personally as a burger flavor, though the entree was prepared properly. Good fries. The fish tacos were delicious and the grouper sandwich was excellent. The crab dip seemed a little too salty, but was still irresistible. Very nice drink list and a great selection of bourbons. Best part was a fantastic apple tart for dessert.”

“I have to totally disagree with the previous two reviews. It is true that Repaz does not serve mammoth portions – if you want that, try an all-you-can-eat buffet or the Olive Garden. Compared to those restaurants’ sizes, the servings here are definitely smaller. However, they allow you to have an appetizer, entrée, and fabulous dessert without being so full you need to take a nap or being concerned that you’ll pack on the pounds. My wife and I have been to Repaz twice, once for lunch and once for dinner – both occasions were highly memorable. We went today and had the chef’s tasting menu – what a steal! We had seven courses that catered to my food allergy and each was beautifully executed. Some of the highest points included an apple carpaccio, pork belly with white beans, and an apple-pine nut bread pudding. The ingredients are indeed local when possible – the restaurant makes a big deal about it on their website menus, but I agree with previous reviewers that it would be nice if they made a bigger deal of it on site. Given all of this, I fail to see why paying $7 for a locally produced, exquisitely crafted, and appropriately-sized salad is so outrageous. (By the way – the panzanella is to die for!) To sum up: if you want a delicious, local meal that is handcrafted and accompanied by excellent service, go to Repaz. If you want to pay $5.99 for a tub-ful of sub-par, high food mileage filler, go elsewhere. The one negative, other than that the locals don’t seem to appreciate it, is that there’s no wine. Hopefully that won’t always be the case.”

“The legend returns! Are you kidding me, seafood this fresh in the mountains? Formerly Southern Highlands, now sharing the name of its sister location in Ellijay. Jamie and the team provide only the best and freshest seafood you can get! Highly recommended!!! Try the Captain's platter, but make sure you're hungry. Fresh, raw seafood available!”
