“Located in College Park shopping center with a Dollar Tree, Kroger, and other shops. You can run errands then hit this spot for a good meal. It's my new go-to spot for a taste of authentic island cooking from home. The staff have smiles and they're genuinely cool. They make your plates as you request. The food is fresh and that includes the plantains AND baked desserts! That's a rare find. It is clean, neat and should you want to enjoy your meal there at the high bar, you can. They even have bread, plantain chips, bran ice cream!! Prices are very reasonable for the portions you receive. I really like that. Parking is extremely limited, tight though. Hopefully they can add a space to sit outdoors on a beautiful day. You'll definitely continue going back.”

I asked him what was up because the only reason I was there was to try an Impossible Burger cooked just like a Whopper is cooked in the broiler. He said the broiler was down. “I really liked the set up and ambiance. My coworkers and I went during lunch. We ordered wings and red rice mainly. The wings were highly disappointing. I could not taste a drop of seasoning. They were not seasoned at all. This is one of the blackest cities ever, WE LIKE ARE SEASON SALT. The sauce drizzled on them was very good though. The red rice was just dry.The muffins were actually good, but you don't go to a restaurant just for bread. As far as customer service, it could be a little better. Ensure that patrons already have napkins and silverware. I HATE having to ask for these things at a restaurant. We also had to ask for the check. The restaurant is not that big, so the server should not feel overwhelmed. Overall, I think this would be a nice spot to grab a drink IF you get there early because space is very limited. It's not my thing but it's worth a try!”

“Veggie platter has been my goto option for five years now. It never bored me. The red lentils are the mildly spicy ones. I love them. But then this is the first time my friends and I tried Ethiopian coffee ceremony. It indeed was one special ceremony. They roast the coffee beans right there all fresh / grind / brew and serve. Oh. My. Goodness. I've never had such a smooth coffee ever in my life. I don't want to go to Starbucks anymore! Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the ceremony. But it is totally worth a try if you are there.”

“It was opening day I was greeted with a slew of women in scantily clothed outfits. Nothing was provided gratis and was charged 9 bucks for a glass and 18 bucks for a carafe mimosa that should have been provided since it was a grand opening.There was no symmetry to uniforms and I found it disturbing to have so much "behind" exposed while I ate. Not the type atmosphere for the area at all. My food was okay, I ordered the Holy Trinity, shrimp and grits, which needed more seasoning. However one friend had the pasta which was delicious. The chef accommodated us with free biscuits since bread did not come with meal. They were good but I suggest some form of bread with these dishes. The owner and chef were gracious enough to ensure our experience was pleasant and were open to our suggestions. Of course there were lots of evidence of growing pains to iron out. If you're young and into hip hop atmosphere than you might enjoy it. But I look for a little more dignity and tranquility with my meals. However I wish them much success and hope they're successful in their endeavors. I understand this is a chain out of Miami that is flourishing but I think they should have placed this establishment elsewhere to ensure the clientele they're after.”

“7/27/19 I ordered a Steak and Cheese Wrap around 10:00. Let me tell you when the driver delivered it I was so happy. First they included napkins in the bag. That's rare on delivery orders so thank you very much. Next I opened my sandwich. I asked for a spinach wrap with onions lettuce tomatoes banana peppers mayo provolone cheese salt and pepper and sweet onion sauce with brown mustard. Guess what? That's exactly what I got. Why am I making a big deal? Because restaurants usually do not pay attention to detail but whomever is working there on this day is making their customers happy. The sandwich is better than any cheese steak variety I've had since I've been in Atlanta. I'm from Philly. Subway could stand to share whatever meat their using. It was delicious. Next time I might try the sub. I also ordered 3 macadamia cookies. Oh my!!!”
