But today I had a different experience, I asked for an iced coffee and I think I received a latte which is not bad, but I didn't have a taste for that this morning. “Being from Michigan, I was visiting family and friends in Atlanta and wanted to stop in to Cafe ULU. Food was great, Had the Lemon cake and Fruit Tea. Service was wonderful. Ken and Thomas were very gracious in explaining the history of ULU which means Us Lifting Us as well as their vision for the cafe. I was excited to know that for 50.00 I could become a member and for 1000 I could own a share in the business. A business with a vision for the future of Black people. I have been following them since Cafe ULU was a idea to now the realization of the cafe and moving towards the cafe being vertically integrated. But for now their mission is to connect Blacks folks in Atlanta with one another around the idea of Us Lifting Us. I am going to do my part and you should too. Visit, buy, invest. help where needed.”

“Quick service and the food is always good. Would have rated 4 stars but my pic 2 chicken salad sandwich was the skimpiest I have ever received from Panera. It was very good but just a tiny portion of chicken salad on the sandwich. I usually receive a better portion of chicken salad on the sandwich. The half portion of strawberry chicken salad was very good with nice ripe strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, and a good portion of chicken.”

I loved the sun-dried tomato risotto, my wife had a perfectly cooked pan-roasted chicken, and one of our friends had the eggplant stack. It was all excellent, including the shared plate of spreads (you can't have enough stuff to dip bread into) and the turkey meatballs were tender and light. We had great service and loved the food. “OHOP is an Atlanta staple. I have been going here for over a decade, and I have never had a bad meal. The place is always packed, but the wait is not outrageous (less than 30 minutes). My only complaint is that the servers are often too busy to check-in as much as I like, but they are very accommodating. I highly recommend the strawberries. They come with freshly made whipped cream that is the perfect accompaniment. I am also rather fond of the scrambled eggs with diced ham (and American cheese if you prefer).”
