“Amazing food and excellent service! We stopped by driving through town since we were craving some chicken and waffles; we plan on stopping by again on our way back! Some of the best sweet tea and lemonade we have ever tried, amazing chicken bites (we tried Sweet & Spicey, Sweet BBQ, and Honey Mustard in waffle tacos). Chicken had fantastic flavor and texture. “1. Staff was amazing and very helpful with all questions .. I told them i was allergic to certain products and they checked everything for me to make sure it was safe .. 2. Menu .. so many options but it was not overly itemized .. each item has a fun unique name .. you have options from meal replacement shakes to teas and more 3. The atmosphere .. Classy and upscale with good vibes .. Very clean and unique in its own way 4. The items we ordered i would highly recommend , i personally got the Mermaid tea and it has a ombre effect that was beautiful and just as delicious as it looked.. We also got a Lemon Icebox shake .. Wow just wow 😲.. flavor factor was out of the ball park .. if you have a sweet tooth i suggest this .. and everything is sugar free , so it's diabetic friendly”

“The food was great! The wait time was a bit much (30 min by the time I had my order taken with 3 people in front when I arrived - hence minus 1 star) and by that time around 5pm most of the food was gone and he had to lock the door. It's a new restaurant and I understand how it's difficult to figure out the supply-demand and staffing for the business to stay open. I'm sure it will balance out over time. The manager was by himself working very hard and was very nice, maintaining his happy, calm demeanor despite sweaty face and head from moving as fast as he can. The coco bread was super delicious my kids devoured them and asked for more! The curry chicken was super tasty!! The guy in front of me took my last 2 beef patties which I was looking forward to trying (it would've taken another 20 min for it to be ready otherwise)! (It's fair game I suppose... but to me, he took MY patties!) Mac and cheese was good as far as taste although it was end-of-the-day-last-bit-of-the-batch texture and was a bit pricey compared to the market around here on a M&C but when you have kids and not sure what they might eat out of the menu they're not used to eating, you go on the safe side and get it. I'll definitely be back to try more food on the menu - will have to beat others to the punch it seems like (especially the beef patty guy)! - I just saw another person's review - Doordash maybe the way to go! Once I try more food, I'll update the stars!”

“I was pleased with this place! Our server was great, we went on the all you can eat catfish and shrimp night. We didn't have to wait long for our food refills. I thought everything tasted great, the grilled shrimp was flavorful, and I liked the breading of the fried shrimp. I only gave it 4 stars because my husband wasn't pleased with the catfish fillets, he felt like the catfish and fried shrimp had no flavor. Like I said, I was pleased with everything, my husband not so much. Side note- the Google maps tells you to turn onto S. Langston Rd. at the 4 way, turn right but not into S. Langston Rd, keep going and you will see the sign for the Carriage House Restuarant and that will. Ring you to the parking lot. S. Langston Rd does not bring you to the parking lot.”
