“Our favorite Chinese in Athens. They offer unique items in addition to the usual crowd pleasers, which they do well. Their sauces are good, often delicate. Not the thick overpowering sauces in some other places. Everyone in our large family has a favorite here.”

“Those unfamiliar with this chain won't know that the chili isn't the type like you'd find at Wendy's... It has no beans and is extremely rich. But the burger and fries are sublime. The fries were hot, slightly soft, just a bit of saltiness to cut the fat. The huge burger was a bit much, certainly truth in advertising here, but very flavorful and with a perfect texture. Staff is AWESOMENESS... Everyone is very nice and service was much quicker than expected. Food was received within like 3 minutes. Drinks are all-you-can-drink. Perhaps if they offered some malt vinegar for the fries it would be a bit better?”

“Their wings have this extra something that makes it my go to spot for wings. The price is super affordable compared to Zaxby's and other competitions. Add Yum-Yum sauce to their rice meals and you are set. I just only ask to either change the tea or lemons every few hours, something tastes old the last time I visited. Otherwise, no complaints.”

“Our server Meredith was a shining star! She made our visit enjoyable with her pleasant conversation and attentiveness. The food was delicious, too! Hot, flavorful, and promptly served, every morsel and bite tasted fresh. The restaurant was clean, well staffed, and the manager was working as assiduously as everyone else. I wish all placed were as dedicated to creating a memorable dining experience.”

“I’ve eaten at this Zaxby’s many times and it’s been consistently good! Most of the time the staff is very friendly, and my food is always hot and fresh. Yesterday, I picked up a meal on my lunch break and as usual the food was great, except when I went to take my first sip of sweet tea there was a DEAD FLY floating in it. Yum. There is so way this happened in the car. My drink was completely covered, so it had to have happened at the restaurant. I was heartbroken, I don’t like writing back reviews but as someone who has put in years of work in the food industry in the past I felt I needed to say something. If it was my restaurant, I would have wanted to know. It’s so important to keep the ice troughs and tea earns covered especially during the summer months. No one wants bugs in their food ???? I called the store, explained the situation, and let them know they should probably change out the sweet tea. I gave 3 stars instead of just 1 because of all the other great experiences I’ve had in this Zaxby’s before, but the dead fly infused sweet tea has me not wanting to go back for a while ????”

“Texas Roadhouse. Land of the wonderful cinnamon butter rolls, and the even more tender and wonderful waiters. I went to the Athens, GA location and was waited on by John, and my life has never been the same. I frequently return for my fair share of rolls, and even fairer share of eye candy. I watch as John delivers my meal and sweet tea to my table, asking if everything came out alright, and it does every time. The broccoli is steamed to perfection. The steak is a perfect medium, with juice dripping off of the sides. The fries come crisped to perfection. The sweet tea is the perfect amount of refreshing and sweetness mixed together. But there’s still one thing missing. It’s John. If only he would just sit and spoon feed me my meal, then my dinner and life would be complete. Ladies if you need a husband and some good food, look no further than Athens Texas Roadhouse.”

“Just wish that they would celebrate pride month. I get that they are strong Christians, but at least celebrate pride month. It'll make people happy, you want that, right?”

“Went with some of my workmates for lunch. The staff was super nice and answered all our questions with a smile. I got a chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Was super messy but totally worth it. The price was just a little above average, but the ingredients were fresh and we'll prepared. So I feel the value was good. I will definitely be back.”

“Best bacon burger and fries in fastfood. Cooked fresh right after you order it. The bacon really makes it perfect. Nothing like that dry burger you get at Wendy's. Never had a bad meal here. You get what you pay for.”

“Love this place!! Go there all the time when shopping in the area. Philly Cheesesteak rocks!! My boy loves the kids pizza sub. Their bread is toasted and amazing and comes from a famous bakery in Buffalo NY..”

“Ordered the fish and it had bones but they traded it out for a sub which was good. Staff were great. Restaurant was clean. Food not the best.”

“I visited this place for the first time a few months ago and the food was delicious. My boyfriend doesn't like to eat at a lot of fast food places but this is one of the places he will eat. Everything was very clean, my burrito bowl was delicious, but the tortilla chips were a bit thin and bland, but it may be because they're gluten free. Good food, fast service. Made my first visit pretty awesome”

“We visited here for the first time. Had to wait since they were very busy. We had read reviews in the past that were very good. The only complaint I have is there is not a waiting room area or chairs. The food and service was great. We had breakfast entrees for lunch. Would recommend. Just be aware if they are busy you may be crowded around front door.”

“Great location and atmosphere. We (a group of 6 celebrating Mother's Day) were for lunch on a very busy day. Our server quick seated us and took our drink orders. Drinks showed up quickly but a glass of tea was spilled on the table. Luckily, no one got wet, just the table and a cell phone. Cell phone was quickly dried and seems to work fine. We waited a very long time for our food during which our server never checked on our table. Food was finally delivered after about 40 minutes. Some of the dishes were cold and obviously sat in the kitchen for at least a few minutes. So, our first experience on a very busy day was not great. I believe the food would have been delicious if delivered on time as prepared. I would go back and try again. My assumption is the staff and management will work out the kinks. If they can get the staff up to speed, this can be a great place to dine.”

“Pecan waffle! Fun late night waitstaff. There is always a humorous conversation going on and they don't mind if you jump right in. Tell 'em your name, they'll remember you next time you walk through the door.”

“The food was great. We each individual pizzas. My friend had gluten free and said it was great. Service was great. The only thing was wrong was that this was their last day of business. They closed both places may 31, 2019”
