“Stopped in to try Grandma's breakfast. She was super nice, and explained the menu to me when I wasn't sure what to get. I ordered the country ham breakfast which comes with tater tots, choice of grits or gravy, 2 eggs cooked to order (I asked for just one), and a choice of toast or a biscuit. That and a drink was only $6 and change. You really get a lot of food for your money. While the food was good quality, it was very salty. I would go back again to try their lunch. They serve the entire menu all day. I saw homemade desserts and milkshakes on the menu as well. I'd give 5 stars for great, quick service and 4 stars for the food.”

“I stopped in for just a water at midnight and I'll tell you, the two women working were super polite and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better representative for any company. They were busy restocking and other stuff but took the time to say hi and greet me. That's what this world needs more of. People who make the effort to be the change we need so much. From the other reviews I see that late night stops here often result in the same kind of response. The owner should reward those that keep folks coming back and leaving happier than they arrived. “Until tonight It had been a while since I've had a meal at the Oakwood and just as always I enjoyed it. I had the pot roast dinner with corn casserole and green beans. It was delicious. The roast was tender and juicy. The corn casserole, was tasty. After enquiring about the desserts, the waitress,who was very attentive, recommended the banana pudding which she made herself that day.
